The file cards gave us the character’s file name and birthplace. Their military specialty…Even how they might be perceived by their peers…

they gave us insight into who these people were and their motivations, foibles, and fears etc. 

I really do miss em!

Established by The Baroness, these specialized operatives are mysteriously culled from all over the world as children. They are placed in special crimson guard families and raised as  a generation with an innate fanatical devotion to cobra.

cobra SCALES are always very beautiful and also very brilliant…they use their looks and charm to leverage themselves into influence. They attend the best schools around the world, have access to various levels of military and IT training.

It’s rumored that They will also marry wealthy men and use black widow tactics to get access to their fortunes.

My favorite vehicle of the year was the VAMP, but I also like the Dragonfly and Tiger Paw.  Overall this year has been a huge hit for the good guys; I might finally prefer my Joe collection over my Cobra one, which hasn't been the case since Cobra Island.

Dawn Moreno - the Snake Eyes legacy character has a great look and intriguing story.

Alyssa Renea Stall aka Bomstrike. I know very little about her story. I’ve seen here interacting with Helix and Dawn Moreno. I love the GI Joe shirt look and she’s designed by Dwight Stall of Marvel Legends fame. She’s interesting. 

Female frogman/frogwoman(?) - I want a lady diver. Cobra Eel, Joe named or otherwise. Make it Quick Kick’s date from Sunbow Cartoon Amber. It can be Scarlet or Lady Jaye in gear. Baroness or just a trooper.

Now, I don't know how easy it would've been for me to get into that panel (I assume it's popular), but I was still looking forward to looking them all in the eyes and asking directly about hooded Cobra Commander.

Stupid Thursday night HasLab reveal...

During the stream a couple of chats brought up the idea of expanding the media for Joe with a cartoon using the Marvel run comics as a basis for stories.  That is pretty similar to a lot of cartoons with comic based characters, including X-Men 97 (and animated before it).   So with that in mind, and the success of the Kickstarter, Classified as a toy line, and the absolute killer runs for the Haslabs so far, is it time for Hasbro to push a cartoon (and accompanying toyline) in the same vein as X-Men 97?

They could basically copy the X-Men 97 formula (using the Marvel/DDP/IDW/Skybound run).   We get the continued adventures of GI Joe from the ARAH era and the comics can be the basis for new episodes.   Maybe give it a bit of a time jump, and ignore most of the DIC era (or repurpose characters in a more fitting way).   That would also give them a chance to make the episodes a little more mature than the original (maybe even a death or two?).  It would also give them a chance to not only reintroduce existing characters/vehicles/locations, but they could throw in some new characters and vehicles as well.  It would keep the existing fans, and returning/new fans who seem to have been part of the success of the new comics and toys.

Then of course they could triple(?) dip with the toys by giving us JOE XX branded figures like they have done with X-Men 97.  

Granted it would be ideal to get new IP going through the Joe brand, but I think the dearth of (tv/film) media, new or old, while the toys and now the comics seem to be doing really well is an opportunity that is being missed.
