Cobra Rattler:
12,539 / 9,000 (+115) 139.32% of funding goal with 37d 18h left.
Still triple digit daily gains a week in that is really good progress. Less than 1,500 backers to go until tier 2 unlocks.
Cobra Rattler:
12,631 / 9,000 (+92) 140.34% of funding goal with 36d 19h left.
Well there is our first double digit gain of the project. It was bound to happen, but at least it took over a week and honestly it is a weekend day so of course it will be lower. Hopefully we can get close to unlocking tier 2 next week.
Cobra Rattler:
12,713 / 9,000 (+82) 141.26% of funding goal with 35d 17h left.
Looks like it might be settling in to the double digit daily (hey alliteration) gains. Still high double digits and frankly it really doesn't matter much right now anyway with over a month to go still.
Yeah even though it’s slowed down, it’s in a good position. One tier unlocked and as long as the usual final day surge happens, it should easily unlock the last two tiers. Seems like Hasbro is trying to figure out the best length of a campaign. Cantina was shorter than usual and this one longer than usual. Curious what that sweet spot ends up being.
@buttmunch I think Cantina was shorter because of the delay in unveiling it.
It was delayed by about two weeks from when they said it would be revealed. So that would account for the shorter funding period because they were probably up against a hard deadline with the Rattler debuting at SDCC. So they didn't want to have another situation where two Haslabs were funding at the same time (even if it was just a week or two overlap).
And yeah the Rattler is going to be fine and unlock all the tiers. I'm just curious as to when the Gunner will unlock.
The Rattler is so damn cool looking. I can’t wait to see it on the flight stand in VTOL mode with the blast effects firing off.
I’ll need a Cobta flight team T-shirt to so the patches to the sleeves. That’s proper nerdy.
Thwipp!
Cobra Rattler:
12,834 / 9,000 (+121) 142.60% of funding goal with 34d 17h left.
Another triple digit daily gain after a couple of double digit gains...nice. Closing in on 13,000 which should be hit by Friday. So 14,000 will probably be next weekend, maybe sooner if it is lucky.
Cobra Rattler:
12,963 / 9,000 (+129) 144.03% of funding goal with 33d 18h left.
Well it will pass 13,000 sometime today and then onwards to tier 2 which should be next week sometime.
Cobra Rattler:
13,172 / 9,000 (+95) 146.35% of funding goal with 31d 19h left.

As a filthy casual, the difference between the figures included here and previous Haslabs is actually making a significant difference in my interest in backing this. The overall lower number, yes, but also the Baroness variant being the top tier is just less interesting to me than a new character or trooper. It's probably a more consumer-friendly move to put an item-specific variant like this in that tier vs a new character, but it does make me marginally less interested in backing.
Take her glasses of and leave her with the ponytail and she's different enough to be a different character. Maybe swap those feet out, high heels around aircraft makes my aerospace maintenance nerves tingle in a bad way.

I agree, and it's definitely something where Hasbro can't really win. You either get a very unexciting tier, or you get something people actually want and will be mad is locked behind a 400-dollar paywall AND might not even get made if not enough people go in for the bigger paywall item.
Personally, I'd rather see a troop builder redeco as some type of specialist than a named character in a different deco for a project like this. Particularly when I just don't care about Baroness, and don't feel like I'd ever need a version that looks like the one presented here. It won't make any decisions for me, but it definitely doesn't help either.
I still don't know if I'm going to back this. Part of me REALLY wants it, and part of me knows (just as with the Dragonfly and HISS) that I don't really have the space for this kind of stuff and that's unlikely to change in the foreseeable future.
As someone that was never going to back this due to space constraints I was actually ecstatic about that final Baroness tier. I honestly don't care if I ever have that as a figure, I've got a couple of Baroness figures that I love already and won't miss that one. So I was stoked at that announcement.
I agree with you guys about Baroness. I'm a little relieved. I backed the HISS and the Dragonfly, but I've decided I won't be backing this. It's going to gnaw at me to not have Wild Weasel just due to the fact that I want all the unique figures, but I'm finding that for me and my interests the flying Joe and Cobra stuff is not ideal. Tanks, Jeeps, cycles and so forth work for me but just like when I was a kid the larger flying items were unwieldy and not the way I wanted to play. I had the Dragonfly as a kid and that was fun, but I never had and wasn't exceptionally keen on getting things like the Rattler, Skystriker, Conquest Tomahawk, Night Raven or things like that. O had some of the smaller flying vehicles like the Sky Hawk and CLAW, but those were funnererer..er.
Apparently I was a lazy kid because it just felt like too much work to play with the bigger flying items.
If this was a Thunder Machine, MOBAT or something like that, I'd be in, but I'd really be buying it for Wild Weasel alone, and he's not worth over 330 dollars.
