I came across this today.

The full film restored, in good quality and available on youtube.

For anyone missing the context, Avi Arad destroyed the film hoping it would never be seen, with only a shoddy bootleg surviving.
Someone used AI to restore it, and the results are amazing. Looking at the footage side by side with the blurry copies we've been watching for 30 years, it's astounding.

Just thought I'd share this with my fellow nerds. It's like an old grail has become widely available overnight.
It's cheese, but it's the fun kind, and still the best F4 movie IMO.

The same guy also did restorations of old 90's Flash episodes too. The first 4 at least. Making it the best quality available anywhere.

I look forward to seeing what other restorations AI makes possible in the future.

I remember reading about Corman's F4 years ago. I didn’t realize that any copies existed. Thanks for the notice. I'll need to watch that soon.

I haven't watched FF in 20 years.  Time to give it another go.

This is about the same quality as the Hulk TV movies with Thor and Daredevil - kind of a struggle to watch at this point.
