Caught The Verdict for the first time this week. Good flick.
Saw Sympathy for the Devil. Not what I was expecting but still entertaining.
Saw Blue Beetle and TMNT Mutant Mayhem at the theater yesterday. I enjoyed both. Oddly enough, there was a distinctive bug motif that carried from one movie to the next. Apparently it was an appropriate pairing.
The Venture Brothers movie. Felt it concluded the series as best it could in 90ish minutes. A final season would have been nice to give some secondary characters a little more.
Saw the latest Transformers flick over the weekend, had to pause it twice to do other things because it was so boring and by-the-numbers.

I'm like two seasons behind still but I can't wait to get to this.
Renfield was a WAY better movie than I expected or that it really had any right to be.
@theknightdamien The last season of Venture Bros is so great. Rewatched it in prep for the film.
I caught Oldboy on the big screen tonight. Much more soap operatic than I remembered. Still a wild ride. Park Chan-wook is the best.
Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. I went into that movie with no expectations because I heard it was bad. The first half or so was fine, even if it was a rehash of the first movie. It at least gave Nova more to do... then the brain people happened and it went downhill so hard it was a 90 degree angle. Terrible movie.

Nice. It's not playing near me, so I'll have to wait until the home release. I want to see this version because I read that the subtitle translation is much better than the previous release.
Blue Beetle already dropped out of my local theater, now that I have some time to go see it; of course.
Oh, well; at least I can finally watch The Flash tonight to console myself.

I concur.
Lately I've just been rewatching older releases. There's nothing new that's really interesting me, including shows. I rewatched Interstellar, Gone Baby Gone (still with they'd do a Kenzie-Gennaro series, come on HBO!), and Grand Budapest Hotel.
For my son's 12th birthday, after dinner and treats he wanted to watch the last act of Rogue One then A New Hope. We'd just watched all of Rogue One a couple weeks ago, but it was fun to do that last night.
Meg 2: The Trench. It was stupid, it was enjoyable. And Fun Island sure was fun.

Oh no..... I have some terrible news for you.
Thanks to HBO, finally got to see The Flash last night — other than the rather horrible opening sequence. (poor Jeremy Irons) and a weak third act — it was entertaining. Thought Ezra Miller did a good job and Michael Keaton was excellent, as expected. Loved the Eric Stoltz stuff, too.
But don't get me wrong, it's not a great movie or anything, but going through the DC universe film library, I enjoyed it more than pretty much every one of them other than the second Suicide Squad and Aquaman. (Not counting 2022 Batman).
