@mrboshek I’ve kinda stopped even asking employees for that. Most of the time if I can find a UPC number online I’ll just use a barcode generator and save the barcode to my phone.
I just go to a price checker and it basically tells me if there’s a backroom location right away. When there is, that’s about the only time a salesfloor employee’s been able to help me out in years.

Of course I've done that 😂. I find it really useful when figures aren't listed on Target.com and you don't have the TCIN for popfindr, then you can scan a generated barcode at the store. I'd have to look through my bookmarks, but there was a site that could generate barcodes from a dpci.
If an item zeroed out it would mean the store is probably more likely to reorder an item faster. Items don't get reordered when they have adequate stock on hand. Reducing the total number on hand would likely prompt a faster / larger restock.
Lucked out and the checkout lady sold me a Retro Carnage. I picked up a Last Stand Spider-Man with it and she just scanned that too and let me go on my way.
The new hand weapons are a nice addition. It’s a little weird that the head’s so modern. The Venompool wave version had a head that looked more like the box art. Not really any big surprises with this one but I’m glad I didn’t have to make a fuss since I missed the preorder window somehow.
It's possible that happens, but I think very few employees at a given store have the credentials to adjust inventory.
You’d think! But anybody that can log in to the store stock devices can report an item out of stock or zero them out.
That's desirable behavior. That employee has essentially just done an inventory check and found that the item isn't in inventory any more, and that kind of check is valuable. If it's not in any place a sales person can find then it's lost, so they won't waste the time of other employees looking for it.
In reality those items may have just been somewhere the employee didn't know to look, or maybe they just didn't feel like checking everywhere and didn't. In most cases those will bubble up to the shelves and get sold anyway. Still better to use employee inventory checks than not.
Warbird arrived from Target today. FedEx is pretty fast with Target. I've only had a few of my packages this year from Target shipped with FedEx. it was usually always UPS. I guess FedEx and Target did some contract negotiations this year.
@tfitz Sir, I am sorry to report that Warbird still has not shipped yet. There's obviously no way it's getting here tomorrow but when it does arrive it's still yours if you want it. Just say the word.I'm glad I got up early Sunday and got one in the store. This is nuts. Toy collecting shouldn't be this hard. I'd bring this up with the Hasbro team tomorrow but really distribution isn't their department. There's really nothing they can do about it.
Hang in there, Fitz. It may take awhile but we're going to get you taken care of.
Well, pat my head and call me shorty. I came home from a volunteer shift at comic con yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised (Astonished really) that Warbird has shipped! Not only shipped, but she's here in San Diego county. She should be delivered today. She's still yours if you want her, tfitz. Just say the word. I'll create a temporary email address and post it here so we exchange info.
Now I won't be able to ship it out until Monday because I'll be insanely busy with that whaddayacallit Comic Con thingamabob all weekend. But you'll get it. Let me know what you want to do.

Looks like Venom is going up at 7am PST today.

Grabbed Venom! Added Xavier just to get the free shipping. Yes, I know, it's more $ than just paying for shipping, but yeah...
