Tracksuit Mafia

Yep, got two emails as well for my three.

I feel like several months from now I'm going to walk into Ollie's/Burlington/Ross/whatever discount seller and there's gonna be piles of Tracksuits. 

And I will have a glorious Tracksuit Mafia army.

I'm still pissed Target cancelled my pre-order on this.

I shouldn't have to constantly log-in to keep approving my pre-order.

This s guy was a clearance item at two or three of my stores and I saw FB reports from other area Targets.  He didn't hit deep clearance, but around $18.

I hoped to get this guy on clearance when he was first announced.  Unfortunately, I didn't make an effort to look for him when he finally hit stores so I missed out.  Kicking myself now because secondary market prices are at least double msrp.

Never showed up at my stores, if it did, not in numbers that stuck around long enough to pick up my share. I didn’t worry since I had preordered. Then they canceled my preorders. I was lucky enough to reorder, but just kept my fingers crossed that they might actually fulfill. And now I have hope that they will. If you still see them on clearance, it might be helpful to those who had a similar experience to me if you picked some up.

I'm an MCU guy, so I'm hoping he pops back up online on the release date so I can at least have Kazi.

@normdapito unfortunately he's long gone.  Iirc, he was clearanced before Widow hit the pegs.  Not being an MCU guy, I didn't know about the issues until later and I just happened to see Rektangular's recent Instagram post.

Target has screwed up everything related to managing and fulfilling inventory over the past year in every possible iteration of screwing something up.  So my money is that these email notifications on pre-orders are just another new iteration of a screw-up on their part.  However, since so many people say they've never seen them this could also easily be pallets of them bubbled up from somewhere and they're trying to figure out what to do with them.  Fingers crossed for everyone that's the case, and that they actually do ship them out to fulfill pre-orders.  Or maybe that's their idea, but then they just screw up the fulfillment and they go who-knows-where.  🙄 

I saw a full peg of them like 6 months ago when they first released and bought two.  Never saw them again after that, but I wasn't going to different Targets much at the time.  Since then I've gone to all of the 10+ Targets in my area looking for clearance deals and never seen them again.

Delayed for me too- Nov. 3-10, it says. Sometimes I wonder if I did something to piss off the real mafia, or the toy mafia, and they're doing everything they can do muck up my pre-orders. Maybe I cancelled one too many pre-orders at BBTS or Pulse and they're systematically dismantling my collecting life from within.

Or maybe store exclusives just suck. The world may never know.

Sigh. They canceled mine. They did the whole “update your payment” thing where the payment on file was totally valid, and then even though I updated it they still canceled due to me not updating it. Ugh.
