It's almost like BBTS doesn't have control over when items arrive in their warehouse.
These hit my Pile of Loot today at BBTS. I ordered 3. I also got the "pre-order processing soon" for a couple of Masterverse figures (Mekanek and Tri-Klops), so I'll wait for those to hit before I have them ship. I had previously gotten lucky and won an auction for one of these on Ebay for a little less than retail, so now I'll have 4.
Bro! I too got the notice that the Tracksuits hit my PoL. I too am waiting on some Masterverse figures to hit the Pile as well.
The saga finally ended for me as well. Outside the feet being annoying to work, solid figures. Kingpin has his boys now!
EE is also processing, got charged for my PO yesterday
I haven’t opened them yet but I have them. Four tracksuits. I can hardly believe it. I know BBTS wouldn’t do me dirty, but I almost feel like I’ll open them and find swapped figures or rocks or some garbage. I’ll take time with them tomorrow.
@normdapito You sound like Charlie Brown after having the football pulled away too many times.
@thwiptster That’s a very accurate comparison, but fortunately I got to kick the ball! At least three times, as I ordered four but opened only three. They come with so much stuff! The Molotov cocktails, golf clubs, crow bars, even the balaclava heads are great and can be used elsewhere. Even the thug that isn’t Kasi is generic enough to pass elsewhere. I can understand why this is such a coveted figure, and I’m thankful that BBTS gave me another chance at it.
I am so relieved for all of you. No sarcasm.
I had a few of these in my preorder list at BBTS but ultimately cancelled them. They have since sold out at BBTS so I'm stuck with my decision. I realize I have wayyyy too many toys and need to downsize. I don't collect MCU figures, and thought I could put these in a comic display, but unless I bought a dozen of them, it's hard to make them work well in a display.
What can three of these guys do against Daredevil or Spiderman or any of the street-level heroes? Not much. If I had a dozen surrounding them it would work.
But ultimately I decided if I'm downsizing I'd rather have a dozen hand ninjas than 6 hand ninjas, 3 track suit guys, and 3 of something else. Because then the display options are more epic.
The one thing I'm a little surprised they didn't do here is make the flame a separate part from the Molotov cocktail. It's all one piece, but it would have been nice to be able to make it just a wine bottle, which would be more versatile.
@normdapito Subject to their usual pricing, which is outside a lot of folk's budget, but Gridiron props just made Molotovs that are exactly that with detachable flame and rag pieces.
@jakeekiss Thanks, I'm not looking to buy any though. I have these, and just wish they were more versatile. I'm sure I could also customize these so that the flames are removable and replaceable.
