I know this was a situation before the Fwoosh blip for those of us with pre-orders wondering if Target was actually going to have product after putting these on clearance -
My card was just charged for my preordered 2, so hopefully we'll eventually get them.
This is the first figure that’s eluded me in the past ten years, or at least however long Hasbro has had the Marvel license. If Target doesn’t come through, I’m at least hoping it goes fan channel to specialty retailers like BBTS.
I am baffled by what's going on with these. Chatted with Target a few times, but nothing changes and I have no info. Wish someone would look into it. Not us, talking like the Hasbro guys
When the reports of cases of 6 of these showing up in store circulated, I just went ahead to stores and had them pulled from the back. Most local stores sold out of these before they ever hit the pegs, but a few actually had stock long enough for them to hit clearance under $10.
What happened with these was unlike what happened with Ultimate Black Widow, where I put in pre orders and found them instore in great numbers the following week. So pre orders I had placed were immediately canceled.
Target canceled my preorders. Or essentially forced me to cancel them myself by not updating my payment method (which is the same RedCard I used on all Target payments before and after). It’s nice that some people found them, but the fact that Target hasn’t fulfilled day one preorders is wrong.
Target hasn't cancelled mine to date. But I am checking every day at this point now cause I am expecting it
Also waiting on these. I feel like the time has passed for the orders to actually be fulfilled, but hope springs eternal.

Although I'm still hopeful on getting these from Target, I broke down and bought one on ebay just in case. I ended up winning an auction for it for just under $30 - so not terrible. I still have 3 pre-ordered across 2 different orders.
It's getting annoying seeing the "placeholder charge" on my card every single week for months now.

Yes, they have, across all product lines. Their inventory management has gone to complete shit over the last 6 to 12 months. Sometimes they fulfill pre-orders, sometimes they don't. Sometimes target.com shows when inventory is in stores, sometimes it doesn't. I've seen enough different issues to know they must be having either massive system issues or massive staff turnover because it's just out of control there right now. Some items go smoothly, others never get shipped out at all.
Whenever there's a Target exclusive I recommend pursuing every available path to obtaining them--do place pre-orders, do call stores once they start releasing, or do visit stores. I prefer to call because most employees are pretty helpful. But if you're not vigilant these days you WILL miss some of their exclusives until they fix whatever their inventory issues are.
So what I learned from talking with Target is that the preorder inventory is being held till they get a new street date from the manufacturer. This is the case for all of those pre-orders we had without dates. So Masterverse Sun-Man, Transformers Origins Jazz, and the Track Suit Mafia. Seems to be a case of miscommunication between Target and Hasbro. Now what is interesting is that Origins Jazz just shipped from Target despite already being on shelves this spring and clearanced out this summer and being sent out by Pulse in April. There's still hope that Tracksuit mafia will show up.
