How about no MCU in the Top 10. Feels like it should just be a different vote, but it's okay. π
Β
Oh,Β I'm not surprised by that here -Β that's just down to demographics of this site more than anything.Β Β I've been coming to the Fwoosh since before there was an MCU... and Legends started out as a comic book figure line.Β Β It's not shocking that people's primary wants are comic book based.
Β
...though I am surprised Jarvis and Air-Walker didn't get more love (the latter especially after the Galactus HasLab). Though I admit I think the moment (and enthusiasm) for Air-Walker has likely passed...
I am also surprised there isn't more demand for Air Walker. I think of the classic heralds as like a team, so that we are only missing him is almost as glaring as no Crystal (or any missing team member). I really want him for the Galactus display...

Feral? Β Marrina? Β Phoenix (Rachel Summers)?, Β Val Cooper (X-Factor)? Β MicroMax? Malcolm? Β Randall? Β Whiz Kid? Β The X-Babies?Β
@detectivehoag Never heard of Whiz Kid, and not a fan of the X-Babies (at least if they do them like that giant Wolverine slug from the Mojoverse set), but otherwise, yes!
Though, I need Cerise & Kylun before MicroMax and Malcolm & Randall.
And Rachel needs to be in her Hound suit. It's funny, I wasn't a fan of it for the longest time, and now it's my preferred look for her, haha.
After reading the entire run of Excalibur recently, I was surprised at the small amount of time Cerise and Kylun were in it.
The 90s comic cards (which were my introduction to Marvel) made it seem like they were a much bigger part of the Excalibur comics than they actually were.
I of course still want them, but just thought it was funny.
Crystal getting the love she deserves! Such a glaring hole in my collection. Hope were surprised with an inhumans set this year.

My introduction to Marvel were my brothers' hand-me-down comics, with Spider-Man & Frog-Man Marvel Team-Up #131, then came X-Men: The Animated Series, and I don't remember which came first, the Skybox X-Men cards or X-Force #16 (because Wolverine, Rogue, and Gambit were on the cover in their "TAS" costumes), but yeah, those cards defined my introduction to any characters who weren't in the cartoon (which did admittedly cover aΒ lot of them, in the same looks).
And with very little experience with the two characters, I really just want figures of them because their looks are so striking & unique to me. *shrug*

Going back over the final tally, I have to say I'm stunned Deathbird only got 4 votes.Β Β The X-Men contingent used to be so strong... and now especially that her sister gets an official figure and still nothing for her... and to tally only a measly 4 votes.Β Β Hard times for would be usurper of the Shi'ar throne...
Β
if it makes you feel better we didn't nearly have as many participants as we usually do.

What page is the completed top 10 results on?

Only two X-Men in the top 10. My faith in the democratic process took a huge hit today.
I think the forum has just lost a lot of people or they arenβt as active anymore. Β Iβm not all that active, but I would have voted all Xmen characters except one if I had voted.Β
Well, since we're finally getting '90s X-Factor Wolfsbane, who do I vote for now!? 😆
Either Marrow, Magik, or Rachel Summers.Β
Because of the love the ML team has for trading cards, it would be fun to present the Fwoosh top 10 (or 20, or however you want to slice it) as a collection of cards. Gather together cards of the top contenders and hand them over at SDCC - it'd be a neat way to get a wishlist in their hands that would probably be more fun for them than the usual way where interviewers rattle off their wants at them.
If anyone is interested I've got tons of Marvel cards I'd be happy to donate to the cause!
