Some other interesting Beamish findings:
RED are characters in the Top 11 (standard)/6 (BAF, Deluxe)/5 (HasLab, Made-to-Order) of the Fwoosh Top 10 poll for 2025:
The X-Men poll: the top votes went to, in order: Deathbird, Exodus, Psylocke, Rachel Summers and Hepzibah.
Avengers poll: Starfox, Mantis, Skurge, Dr. Druid and Graviton.
Spidey poll: Swarm, Cardiac, Rocket Racer, Stegron & a 3-way tie for Calypso, Carrion and Will O' the Wisp.
All-Women poll: Mantis, Marriina, Rachel Summers, Anaconda & Deathbird.
Villains poll: Wizard, Skurge, Attuma, Deathbird & M'Baku.
Cosmic poll: Jack of Hearts, Starfox, Air-Walker, Deathbird & Mantis.
The other polls didn't cross with the 2025 Top 10, but here's their Top 5 anyways:
Fantastic Four poll: Diablo, Wizard, Triton, Gorgon & a 2-way tie for Puppet Master & Thing (singlet)
Supernatural poll: Gargoyle, Nightmare, Dr. Druid, Baron Blood & Talisman (Alpha Flight). I had given everybody points for Dracula (Colan), Werewolf By Night, Frankenstein's Monster, Simon Garth and Mephisto.
Cinematic poll: Blade (Snipes), Echo (MCU) & Hulk (Ferrigno). The next tier is an 11-way tie.
Street Level poll: Owl, Gladiator (Potter), Colleen Wing, Demolition Man, White Tiger (Hector Ayala)
Timely/Atlas poll: Human Torch (Jim Hammond, Miss America, Toro, Whizzer and a 2-way tie for The Angel & Vision/Aarkus.
The fact that they haven't pulled the trigger on the insanely easy two for one on Marrina/Namorita is crazy to me. It's the same entire body with different colored skin and different head. That's it.
If we do get Marrina, do Box and Talisman move up people's lists or is that stretching the Alpha Flight love too far? Does Marrina get more push because of her Avengers adjancency for a time?
Edit: and looking at that last bit Beamish - it's crazy how overlooked Starfox was on the actual Top 10 vote when he was the top vote getter on the Avengers poll. People are fickle man. Starfox is definitely in my top 10.
My votes mostly ended up very low, but I'm proud to champion the weird. Glad Jack of Hearts is high up! He will make for an insane figure when they eventually make him.
@ibentmyman-thing could you or MattK please post the results to the front page? Pretty please?
And maybe get the vote back on the front page next year? The turnout was so much bigger that way.
Thanks so much for doing all the hard work, Beamish! To the Fwoosh team - any chance the results could be published on the front page?
Thanks for taking this on, Beamish. The top 10 has been a huge part of the community, and I think it really makes a difference in Hasbro's character selection.
Yes, Hasbro acknowledged Fwoosh's Top Ten during their Marvel panel one year at a major convention (SDCC?). I think they even had the Fwoosh logo on the projector screen in their presentation. It's sad to see the Top Ten lose a lot of exposure and participation since it's no longer featured on the front page.
A thousand thanks to @Beamish for taking the time and effort to keep it going here on the forums! Your work and enthusiasm is very much appreciated.
I like the top 10 this way, better, doing it through Disqus was weird, and bothersome, having to log into an account that you haven't used since the year prior.
I was the opposite. I participated in discussions on the front page through Disqus more than I did here on the forums. I don't mind coming to the forums for the Top Ten, as I intend to participate here more often anyway. But what is more important, in my opinion, is the wider exposure/visibility and greater participation from being featured on the front page. Including the increased visibility to Hasbro.

Agree with this. The Fwoosh Top 10 got some highly coveted attention.

I think combining the front page with Norm's suggestion to do it via Forms or a similar tool would be a winning combo - get the front page exposure along with an interface that's easier for people to access. Could also open it up to non-forum members that way too since it wouldn't require a board login, and probably end up with a lot more participation. Plus it would make the tabulation a lot easier on Beamish (assuming he still wants to run it, not volunteering him!)
Semi off topic, but do we have a Discord?

We have one but it's dormant and unmoderated. I believe Robo set it up before he split.
Well, three of my choices made the top 10! Not bad.
I'm sad there isn't more support for a new Doc Samson. I can't imagine y'all are satisfied with that fubar figure from the dark days; even if you are a vanilla poser.
Same goes for Mole Man.
Hopefully, he and Puppet Master get some love with the upcoming F4 film.
Also, I hate to be the bearer of bad news to all you Armor voters out there but, there is absolutely no way to properly engineer a functional articulated figure of that character in her powered-up form. A statue? Sure. But a Marvel Legend? Impossible.

Personally, I would require she receive a dedicated torso sculpt with textured scales on her one-piece bathing suit. Plus, she would require new hands with webbed fingers for me to be satisfied.
Thanks Beamish!!

While it's easy to agree that the existing Doc Samson figure is bad and a new figure would be welcome, it also has to be admitted that Doc Samson just isn't that important as an overall character in the grand scheme of things to crack a list like this for many. Honestly, I would buy a Doc Samson upgrade figure, for sure. But a new Doc Samson couldn't crack my top 50 want list for this line and might not make my top 100.

Similar thoughts for Mole Man as I laid out above for Samson. The previous version is admittedly booty. But a new figure of that character is not a super high priority for me either. And while I am much higher on the prospect of a Puppet Master figure - I am actually pretty satisfied with the custom I cobbled together using a Lightning Series Finster body and one of those deranged Professor X heads. It's not perfect and I would buy an official version if it got made for sure. But it's good enough that Puppet Master slides down the list a healthy way in favor of other FF villains I need more - Attuma, Wizard, Diablo, Maximus...

I have actually said this as well. I don't think it's feasible to get a moveable action figure of the Armored up version that could have a functionally appropriate moving figure of Hisako inside - it isn't physically feasible. I have no idea how they could even begin to tackle such a thing

I assume when you say "she" above you are referring to Marrina, since you pivot to webbed hands. But Namorita's green leotard is also scaled
So again, the two for one shouldn't be a problem. And yes - Marrina should get webbed hands and N'ita should get ankle wings... so a couple of extra tweaks - still copious re-use.
@panthercult ohhhh. I thought you were talking about the previously released Namorita figure with the blue skin. My bad.
But wouldn't Namorita fall into your we-already-have-that-character-and-prefer-to-have-novel-characters-never-been-done-before category?
But wouldn't Namorita fall into your we-already-have-that-character-and-prefer-to-have-novel-characters-never-been-done-before category?
Nope... because I don't recognize that blue abomination as Namorita at all. Just like I don't accept the blue and gold Banshee as the official Banshee figure and I don't accept the half assed Marvel Girl skirt costume Rachel as the Rachel Summers figure - I need a figure of the character in their iconic look the way I remember them. The existing Namorita figure fits in no display I have, I need a classic Namorita for my New Warriors set up.
And, to be clear, my "no redos" policy is more about remaking the same look that's already been done. If a character has two totally distinct costumes from two totally different eras then both are fair game.
For example, I was happy to get a classic Marvel Preview costume Starlord even though I had a good figure of the Annihilation era Starlord. Those are separate and distinct looks and both are acceptable. I'm less eager to get 'Jim Lee Psylocke but this time with...'
