Anyway, here’s the latest info I got:
“Hey! Not sure how I missed your last text! Hope you had a good thanksgiving too!
Bad news on the space front, having some production delays so ROM is going to be a little later (May instead of April) but other than that no new exciting news at the moment. Had a cool Spider-Man wave go -live for preorder today but that’s about it!
Thanksgiving was nice too. Very low key this year which I’m ok with.
And seems like it’s an issue with the factory just not being able to produce enough on time. Doesn’t sound like a quality issue. Good news is I’ll be able to get you a sample well before the release in May.

Fantastic Four and a few more Spider-Man waves next year matches with the rumors we've seen (MCU FF wave, Friendly Neighborhood wave, Gamerverse wave). Hopefully some comic goodies to go along with the FF movie.
Any chance your cousin can be bribed to get the ML team to make our favorites? I've got a cool $10 bill for him if he can get Jack of Hearts out in 2026.

I’ll send him a text about Jack of Hearts right away. While he’s not one of the major decision makers as far as who gets made, he definitely has a direct line to friends and co-workers who do.
Hmmm… Maybe I’ll mention classic ‘70s Captain Britain to him along with Jack. 🙂 I love that costume. I just bought the old Bowen mini-bust of it after having sold off my original several years ago.

Rom is a once in a lifetime ultimate wishlist achivement, so the wait feels interminable, but it'll be worth it.

Here’s a little fun fact: I wrote the “Then and Now” text for Randy Bowen’s line of mini-busts for several years. I wrote the text for over the last 140 busts. I’d have to check to see how many I wrote. Anyway, the mighty M’Baku was one piece that I really enjoyed writing up. I had a lot of fun doing those. Sigh… How time flies.
