Rom has been my number one want since the birth of Marvel Legends. Winner of SDCC.
Hell yeah!
Did they say if he'd be appropriately tall?
Yes. They did mention he was tall.
Ooh nice, will we get some other spaceknights and dire wraiths as well?
I need to get that for my older brother. He’s not really a toy collector per se, but he really loved Rom and had his entire comic run. He always wished Rom had action figures back in the 80s but we always thought it may not have been popular enough. He doesn’t keep up with toy news at all so this will be a great surprise for him.
So excited! Love Rom! He’s been a top want for me for decades now! I’d love to get more Galadorian Spaceknights to go with him, but for now, I’m thrilled to get Rom in Marvel Legends!
I had to drive all day yesterday and was mostly offline - I snuck a peek at Instagram just to see one or two reveals to tide me over, and ROM was what I saw! Immediately thought of all the folks here who have been wanting one for so long.
I can't claim to have any deep affinity for Rom as I only ever read a handful of his original comics and random appearances here and there. This announcement is the kind of thing that will get me to finally read his book. That Omnibus is calling my name...
Aaand just like that, Vol. 1 of the Omnibus is on the way. Excited to dive deep and get pumped for the figure.
ROM alone is a dream come true, firmly my #3 most wanted Legend (I don't need to repeat the first two) but I do hope we can get some supporting figures.
My pipe dream though... Or, at least Tristan.
I thought the title stood for Range Of Motion. 😀
seriously, though, getting ROM finally is cool. Torpedo would be awesome too.

Heck yeah! Especially considering Marvel owns more than half the characters (Commander Rann, Marionette, Bug, Hun-Tarr) free and clear already. It's Acroyear, Karza, Microtron, et al that are the issue.
@thor-el Hasbro owns those - they could easily release 1:12 scale Karza, Acroyear, et al just not under the Marvel Legends brand.
I've been saying for years that a Commander Rann, Marionette, and Bug 3-pack under Legends and an Acroyear, Biotron and Microtron 3-pack under Micronauts makes sense to start, with a Karza deluxe release (that could easily be a Force Commander release, with the centaur mode). Pack in an unmasked Acroyear head with the Rann 3-pack. Dog Soldiers and Enigma Force 2-packs, and then Huntaar, Devil, Nanotron as a Legends 3-pack.
I'd take all of that, happily.
