@enigmaticclarity for me it is his backwards views on female figures for one. He had an interview with Shartimus Prime (birds of a feather there) and talked of boys who buy female figures growing up to be serial killers. If I remember correctly there was a hesitation and then he said serial killers. I believe he wanted to throw in a slur there but thought better of it.
I get the impression he is very much a "good old boy".
He has also burned me on too many dropped lines and a scale change in the past so I'm just done with him.
Plus the McFarlane fanboys online are obnoxious.
He also makes it incredibly difficult to get in demand looks for figures because he makes the classic looks store exclusives or chase figures.
I'm still waiting on my Pulse Jack O'Lantern, shipped out last week supposedly, still not here... 😜
Yeah... for some reason Pulse ships via mule train while amazon uses a teleporter. I got the shipping notice for my Pulse Angel and the Lilandra 2-pack a day or two before the full onslaught of Amazon notifications but all of the Amazon product got to my door first.

Whoa. I saw that interview and remember him commenting on female action figures, but man, I would've noted that serial killer statement. Definitely going back to check that out.
You're mostly right, although with two qualifications--he said that perhaps serial killers begin when parents bring female superheroes home to their little boys when 99% of them want a male action figure, plus he was smiling when he said it so it was clear he was kidding which Shartimus picked up on and immediately laughed because he could tell Todd was trying to say something shocking. I probably discounted it knowing he didn't really mean it because I'm used to him liking to stir the pot over the decades.
Below is a link to that point in the interview. The link is to where his point about selling female figures at retail begins, and he doesn't make the serial killer comment until about 3 minutes later. I certainly generally agree with his overall point that little kids are HIGHLY gender-biased with girls overwhelmingly wanting girl figures and boys overwhelmingly wanting boy figures.
Just finally got my Jack O'Lantern!! He's great! It technically works as either of the Macandale, Levins, or Burkehart/Maguire Beck "Mad Jack" versions, but the belt and neck-wrap are particular to the early Levins (pre-heavier armor and stylized mask) version! Now Hasbro, give us Scarecrow, Vermin, Carrion, and Dracula, to add to the "creepy" villains! 😁
Question about Tombstone. I know that part of his odd appearance is that he's a 6' 7" African-American albino who filed his teeth to be sharp, but why does his nose usually look tiny or nonexistent like a corpse? I read a few bios of him but none mention the nose specifically. I get that he's Tombstone so he looks like a corpse, but all of the other elements of his appearance have explanations so I'm wondering what's up with his nose.
I skipped the old figure specifically because of that corpse-like appearance. I skip the zombie figures for the same reason, and I've skipped all of the Deathloks for that reason. I was going to skip this one but the suited body is so good I went ahead and got him.
As I recall, the chemical immersion that gave him his strength and durability did that to his face! Don't quote me though lol.
You pretty much nailed it. Lonnie Lincoln ended up on the receiving end of his own "Marvel-ized" version of the Joker treatment. He and his goons were attempting a B&E at a chemical plant and during a struggle with Joe "Robbie" Robertston (who was going through his initiation at the time), Lonnie lost his footing and fell into one of the vats which bleached his skin white and made him nigh invulnerable. he spent the rest of his days working his way up the various rackets until he formed his own mobAs I recall, the chemical immersion that gave him his strength and durability did that to his face! Just waiting on Jack to hit my Pile of Loot at BBTS. The other 5 from this wave are already in there patiently waiting. I've got 31 total items sitting in there right now which is more than I usually let it get up to, but don't plan on shipping until Jack, Patch/Fixit and MS Dynamo get added. Patch/Fixit is also the final Wolvie 2-pack that I'm waiting on as the others are already in there. Not going to lie that I'm starting to get a bit antsy!
Ah yes, ol’ Skully making more friends. I remember that issue. He just doesn’t play well with others. I’m not sure if there’s any other villain that’s hated by so many other villains.
Haven't seen Spider-Shot or Jack in person yet, but the rest are striking on the card. Just picked up Last Stand at Target because I've always liked the design since I saw the figure, but just couldn't resist. I love the jacket look. And Spider-Verse gives him a good enough reason to exist on my shelf.
But the orange on Eve is fantastic, and she looks great with Chasm, and Scarlet looks really cool. Tombstone filled the bubble nicely - just a great looking wave.
Has any other figure come with more masks to give Eve? She needs a super hero face one. BTW, I posted this in the mods thread, but Eve looks even better with her hair painted red.

Why? I still haven't figured out what the masks are for in terms of display. What do you do, just have her hold them in her hand?
You can probably shove them into her hood or hair. And I don't much care for Dracula or devils.
