Prowler arrived today. He’s awesome. Always was one of my favorite 5” Spider-Man figures. The colors are so nostalgic. Poseability is excellent.
Yeah I'm probably going keep this Prowler as my main one. I like it better than the first one that was released and some Marvel Comics fans purchased. I especially like the colors more and the unmasked head sculpt looks great as well.
Still pissed they put Hobie's head on the figure in the package. Do't get me wrong, happy they included it - but if we're going to display retro carded figures, why would we prefer the civilian head? Was looking at opening one to switch them, then re-glueing it, but doesn't seem likely.
Dan also posted a pic of loose retro MJ/Gwen with the MJ head, with no context. Hoping this means we're FINALLY getting a civilian MJ with a new HS based on her first appearance!

MJ’s head is terrible on what is so clearly Gwen Stacy’s iconic body. Black top and jeans look for MJ all day!
Tough to decide if this is enough of an upgrade. Since the 3-pack version on the Omega Red body it looks like the new pieces are the closed-mouth headsculpt and they finally made an entirely new torso to fit the rest of the Omega Red body. Omega Red just has an ab crunch, but this guy has the diaphragm joint, lower ab crunch, and the shoulders don't have those holes on the back that Omega Red's shoulder pads pegged into.
It'll definitely matter to me if the neck peg fits the old Omega Red heads because the half-Venom, half-Eddie headsculpt from the 3-pack is still their best Venom head, and I would mostly display that head on this body if I do end up getting this figure.

The torso joint alone is enough of an upgrade for me. And yes, I'm aware that this is how Hasbro is going to get me to rebuy every A- and B-lister they've ever made over the next few years - as long as they keep making the weirdos too, I'm in.

Double torso joints for everyone, and double-jointed elbows for the ladies. I will be there on day one.
Now if we can just add butterfly joints to the mix...
Walmart exclusive. Literally one of the most popular Marvel characters, ALWAYS sells ridiculously well. The last one, also exclusive to Amazon, was selling for upwards of $100 on the aftermarket before this was announced.

I don't see myself rebuying EVERY character with double torso joints, as I feel most don't need it, but Venom is one that really does. Too bad I'll only ever be able to buy it off of eBay.
