Is Jack supposed to balance on his glider, or is it meant to be held up by something, and that's why the bottom gold part is separate? I can get him to balance for two minutes.

I haven't tried it myself, but I believe the glider fits directly on to some of the triangular stands that came with the likes of Demogoblin and other figures I'm not remembering right now.

Can confirm. I had an extra stand from an Hawkeye Skycycle that I popped right into that socket on Jack’s hoverboard. Fit perfectly and he now flies over my more D-list Spidey rogues.

Actually, that's not a glider that Jack rides on. It's called a pogo platform and he uses it to bounce around, ricocheting from surface to surface at high speeds. So it doesn't fly (or glide) as the case may be.

@ninjak Spot On Correct,  Sir! Though it's worth noting that the later iterations, like the Burkehart/Maguire Maguire Beck "Mad Jack"  version's platform did straight up fly instead of bounce! Probably the later Levins versions as well! (This particular figure seems based on the early Levins version!)

Reference images I’ve seen show more that it hovers and flies and has the ability to bounce, and that bouncing isn’t its primary function. It’s certainly not wrong to put it on a flight stand.

I love the ridiculousness of the platform pingponging around instead of gliding! Thanks for sharing that detail.

Agreed about the image and flight-stand use. Even within the referenced panel, you can see that despite him calling it a “pogo-platform” the trajectory of the motion lines indicates it has limited flight capabilities. Bouncing objects generally don’t curve elliptically from point to point/bounce to bounce – at least, not in my layperson understanding of physics.

..then, again, you can put a spin on a ball before bouncing it which will achieve something like that, so ‘grain of salt’…

Whatever happened to that Target exclusive Carnage?

Did I miss the pre-order?

Retro Prowler should be here today. Looking forward to checking out that unmasked head.

Hmmm... mine still shows an estimated delivery date of May 22.   Bummer.

Prowler came out surprisingly nicely. I thought he’d just be a repaint, but he’s on a pinless update of Spider-UK it looks like, he has a new cape, what look like new fists (possibly reused) and a great unmasked head sculpt with a digital face print. Impressed.

Edit: On closer examination and comparison with Fang, who also uses the updated Spider-UK body with pinless limbs, Prowler has a new torso, to which the cape is glued into the trapezius muscles.

I loathe that Spider-UK body. I don't like the aesthetics or articulation.

Dan Yun posted new pictures of the retro series Carnage.    It is a Target exclusive and will apparently go up for pre-order next week...  and I think I can safely skip it.    I'm just not a huge Carnage fan and I've got lots (and lots) of pretty well done Carnage figures already and I can't see spending the money for another one.

Yeah I’m 100% satisfied with Mafex Carnage and the 1 way I’d ever get the character again is if he’s in a 2+ pack with some other highly desired character(s). I’m still waiting on the right Venom for me  so this rumor/leak of a Venom&Carnage 2pack scares me.

If you still have the old Jack O’Lantern figure, I highly recommend this. I LOVE how this looks.

I know nothing of this character aside from liking how she looks, so to me on my shelf, she’s just a Halloween-themed Goblin-gadget baddie partnered with Jack O’Lantern.
