Come on X-Men BAF wave!!

I'd love that, especially if it was like the Ch'od wave where we got 6 of 8 brand new, never before made characters. However these are usually early calendar year releases, so probably too early to show those. The leaks that have been making the rounds makes it sound like the next X-Men wave offerings are going to be mostly repeats anyway.

I think this will be all about Kang, the Secret Wars wave and maybe some 2-packs like the long rumored Constrictor/Crossbones.

They usually like to announce a Spider-Man wave in October, so maybe that makes the cut, but probably not until NYCC.

I also don't expect the Dragon Man window to open during pulse. Opening that window when they're already selling a $60 Kang and a $200 Secret Wars wave seems unlikely to me. To add another $100 (or more) figure just wouldn't all at the same time just doesn't seem like a Hasbro thing to do. However I could see them showing a completed (painted) version. But, I know that the HasLab Rattlor is ending this week, so the timing would be right if this would have been when they normally would have announced the Marvel HasLab.

I do hope that they give us an estimated shipping date for Giant-Man. It would be nice to have him before the holidays. If they were holding anything back Avengers related (like maybe a Jarvis figure?) to correlate with that shipping it would be nice for them to announce that/those also.

I repeat that if they do announce a Jarvis figure that he not be released in any irritating exclusive way, and that he be easy peasy simple squeezy to get and get fast. He’s WAY too critical an Avengers character to screw around with.

Opening that window when they're already selling what is likely a $70 Kang...

Kang better not be anywhere NEAR $70. Even the more likely $50 - on par with Phoenix - is too much for a figure and accessory. Really annoyed at Hasbro going back to overcharging.

I truly hope there’s something for everyone revealed that makes them happy!

For me, I’m hoping for an MCU Werewolf by Night and Elsa Bloodstone announcement, and Electro and Lizard to finally be revealed.

if they don’t show off the 2 Spidey villains at this Con, a year after announcing the other NWH guys, I’ll start to doubt that we’re going to get them, especially with Dans comments at SDCC.

Hasbro had a strong 2024 with Legends so just hoping it continues. I don't care much for Secret Wars, I don't have an attachment to it and expect repaints but could be blown away so who knows.

I liked the DMB leaked list a lot so it would be really cool to something from that list revealed.  Anything X-Men related would be great.  Dragon Man will launch.  $100

No speculation, but my wish is for comic accurate Titania to be part of the SW wave. Everything else will be gravy in that case.

@schizm  You're right, I went back and looked and Hasbro already told us that Kang was going to be $59.99 when they announced him, not the $70 I typed above. I must have had Crystal/Lockjaw on the brain. I'll go back and correct that post above.

You've been annoyed for at least 8 or 9 years ongoing then, right?  The figures you're citing are pretty much an extension of the line they previously referred to as "Legendary Riders," i.e. one figure plus one big thing they ride on.  I don't see much difference between Jean and her Phoenix base, Kang and his chair, Hawkeye and his sky cycle, Danny Ketch and his bike, etc than I did with Johnny Blaze and his bike, Deadpool and his scooter, or Xavier and his hover chair than I do with these new figures.  All pretty much the same amount of plastic, and both are priced around the cost of two figures.

If I were to pick a Legendary Rider who seemed like the least value it wouldn't be the current round; it would be either Deadpool or Squirrel Girl and their scooters.  I guess they did try to pack a bunch of extras in with the scooter to make it more worthwhile, but those scooters always seemed too small to count as a full figure for the price.

My predicitons:

  • Simonson Loki
  • handbook Attuma
  • Enchantress & Executioner 2-pack
  • Doctor Bong & Howard set
  • Titanium Man II & Gremlin set
  • classic Man-Ape
  • super-articulated Green Goblin decked out with all his famous gadgets & effects
  • a good Iceman figure with a big ice slide
  • the remaining Serpent Society members
  • Ego the Living Planet
  • Hate-Monger
  • and Texas Twister

Hasbro announced officially that the Kang with his hoverchair is the Pulse-Con exclusives - will be available for sale on Friday at 5pm EST (2pm Pacific).     I know this isn't surprising news, but is now official news

@thwippersnapper

Not a bad list.

The remaining Serpent Society is still quite a big group.  I doubt it’ll be completed, but we can keep hope alive.

i would love a Texas Twister, especially since we, still, have no Rangers representation in the Legends line.  A tornado base would be awesome, and could be reused for Whirlwind (update, or alternate look), Storm, Cyclone.

I'd be all over Loki, Enchantress and Executioner, Doctor Bong, and Green Goblin.

Iceman's a good shout, too. We know Hasbro will finally make a decent one now that MAFEX has announced its own.

Is there any reason to think the Kang is different from the prior release? It looks like a straight repack to me (with the alternate heads/face plates) but I haven't studied it too closely.

I am hoping we might get an Amazon 5-pack announcement of some sort.

And a new army builder as well (although I guess the Outriders are filling that slot this year).
