My most favorite topic on the Fwoosh. Never quite sure why it was in the Marvel section, but I'm keeping it consistent.
To get things started — while at Power Con last week, stopped at a couple Ohio Thrift stores which both had piles of the "deluxe" armored old man Boba Fett for $9.99 at one store, $12.99 at the other. I'm talking at least 20 new in box Bobas at each store. So much for the "Boba Fett tax ..."
One of the stores also had a few of the Black series figures from the wave with Ashoka and Tech from Bad Batch for $5.99.
Given my luck, the one figure I wait to buy on sale (Blob) was either on sale during the forum outage or will never go on sale. 🙄
Is it just me or have online sales been non-existent this year? GameStop used to have a tiered % off sale a couple times a year. Nada in '23. Target hasn't had a Buy 2, Get 1 in forever. My alerts for price drops at Amazon have been real quiet too.
I think Target did their Buy 2, Get 1 - or maybe 25% off $100? - earlier this year. Normally there are a bunch of things up for preorder that qualify, but since they've been doing fewer preorders there wasn't much available by way of ML during it.
Gamestop also definitely had some sort of sale in June - I had just resolved to cut back on purchases for a while and kept going back to the site fighting the urge to order the Ch'od wave.
The end of the year seems to have the best sales though, so it's probably just a matter of time!

Amazon has been much less aggressive lately.

For the past few years I've seen Target run three sales every year that Legends fall under excluding their year-round clearances. The main one they run is spend $50 and get $10 off or spend $100 and get $25 off. I usually see them run this sale twice per year, once in the spring and again in the early fall. If the pattern holds this sale will pop up within the next few weeks. They did have one a few months ago in the spring.
The buy 2 get 1 free sale I only see in the mid to late fall, usually October or November.
Amazon dropped the Spidey villains set to something lower than $60 at some point in the last couple weeks. Aside from that, there's a minor dip on Ronan the accuser from 38.99 to 34.99.
Stopped at Piscataway WM today and picked up Animated Kraven for 8.50$ with Tax. Picked up a few more at Old Bridge(9).
Oliies in Old Bridge had Fortnite Jules and Ohm for 13$. Last week they got in more Controller wave plus Baf AOA Colossus (10$ each) and AOA Apocalypse for 20$.
Is it too soon to bring up Ferrara Market here?

Never! Did anyone get any of the waves they preordered on the cheap?
I'm in the process of getting refunded right now. I don't expect immediate responses but it took three weeks to get any sort of response, so I went to my CC to just cancel the charges. They were supposed to ship may/June.
@ru1977 Same, i just asked my bank to refund me. Should not be a problem with their lack of communication and plethora of evidence.
Right. Bottom line is we paid money and never got the goods.
Just found Cyborg Spider-Woman on clearance (50% off) at Target.
Couldn't pass her up at that price.
If your Targets had any left over, she might be marked down.
