Magneto is indeed top heavy, though the one I have hasn't had any issues with looseness. He's able to stand in basic Magneto poses for me, with or without the effect parts, and hasn't taken a shelf dive.
Basic poses is the key--he can do straight-legged poses. Anything else and his ankles can't support the weight.
@enigmaticclarity that's too bad. I'm able to do a little finessing with mine. More wide-legged stances or ones where his feet are pointed in different directions and he's pivoted to the side. Only joint I find that's loose is the diaphragm. He'll hold a pose there, but pick him up and he's likely going to tilt back. It's too bad his giant cape makes the included stand worthless.

Oh those poses work for me too. But his knees DO bend, and that diaphragm joint is also there--but as you just pointed out we can't really use them. Maybe if you get a strong third-party stand to prop him up somehow, but that stand Mondo gives us can't support anything. Sixth scale figures from Mondo and Hot Toys/Sideshow already have limited articulation, but Magneto can't even use most of the limited articulation they put into the figure without shelf diving. Very disappointing.
The Legends sixth scale figures they did in the late 2010s are still the best I've ever seen because some of them have the same great articulation and tight joints that the twelfth scale figures have. The first ones they did were more limited, but by the time they got to symbiote Spidey and Wolverine the articulation became outstanding. Their tiger stripe Wolverine 12" figure is still the best non-Haslab action figure I have from Hasbro. It's just as good as the 6-inch figure for articulation, but the detail level is FAR better.
Maybe Rogue coming with a stand is their way of addressing these issues?
Between every toy company, Hasbro, Diamond Select, ToyBiz.. I think this Mondo Rogue is the best face sculpt she's ever had.
The stands are the worst thing about these figures because they barely work and don't look good either.
I wish they all came with Sentinel stands like Rogue (if it helps with posing and they actually work better)
I just got a shipping notification for Gambit. The email said it would arrive on the 23rd, but it’s still in label created status. I’m kind of hoping it doesn’t arrive until after Christmas so I don’t have to keep an eye out for another package.
Same -- although my email didn't have a delivery date, and it just says labeled created.

Yep. The one that came with my Magneto won't even hold his weight without falling apart. It's only good for a straight standing pose, but it won't even work for that.
The B:TAS Batman has an issue with one of his legs being loose (I have the Redux one and lots of reviews mention it also) - which is a shame since as its a Redux they could have addressed this issue from the original release
I also don't really like the "under crotch" stands which always seem like they're gonna scratch the paintwork - waist stands would be better IMO
I got Gambit in last night. I haven’t had a chance to mess him with it much, but it turned out nice. I also woke up to a shipping notification from DHL for Omega Red. Looks like that one is shipping directly from the factory in China rather than to Mondo first.
Yep - I was all in on the line also but made the hard decision to just stick to the good guys when they teased Cyclops, Rogue and Animated Spidey line. It's costly but also I don't have the space for all the figs.... plus I'll probably go all in on the Spidey line. I sold off my Sabertooth and Magneto - passing on Omega Red. They all look incredible though.
I wonder if we will see Rogue and Cyclops prototypes at NYCC.
Same. Usually, Mondo receives the figures first and checks them. Hoping these won't have QC issues.
Omega Red arrived today somewhat unexpectedly. He came via DHL and required a signature. His box has some 3D accents on it for the coils which is kind of neat. The figure itself is the most locked-down articulation-wise so far. The hair is what it is, but his diaphragm, shoulders, and elbows are pretty tight. The elbows are all painted too so there's a part of me that doesn't want to move them. The paint job is impressive though, so while he may not move well, he still may be the most eye-catching of the set. My figure did come missing the optional left hand though. I've already emailed Mondo to see if they can send it so we'll see what happens. I doubt it was cut from the final production figure since it has a spot in the tray. This figure shipped straight from the factory so I don't know if Mondo will have any extra parts hanging around.

EDIT: Mondo got back to me and will be sending out a replacement hand for me later this month. Only downside to that is now my buddy doesn't get a free Omega Red since when they owed me a hand for Magneto they just sent a whole new unit.
Omega Red arrived today. Good looking figure. Dig this head sculpt. Not exactly my favorite thus far. If I had to give an order, it would be;
Gambit
Jubilee
Sabretooth
Magneto
Omega Red
Wolverine
Really looking forward to Rogue and Cyclops. Hopefully, Rogue releases this year and isn't just a pre-order.
