Oh yea, power ranger engineering makes it so those shoulder mods are almost impossible to do without breaking something. Its why I only do customs with that line where I just have to repaint them or maybe swap legs or something.
Legit I love the way Lazy Monster did their butterfly joints. Its a ball joint instead of a straight peg going into the torso from the shoulder. Gives it so much rom and the arms are easily swappable/removable. I dont know if other important companies do it this way but I definitely like it better.
I'm curious about this butterfly joint setup you're talking about but not familiar with the line, and I'm a lazy monster myself. Got a link to some pics?
The figures themselves? Those are easy to find. Google Lazy Monster elf figure. Its a new company and the figures are fantastic. Really solid. Ill have to take pics later of the way the joint is. I wanna say Mafex may use it too. Its similar to Hasbros but their peg has a tip to keep it secure. And the butterfly is attached to the torso. The Lazy Monster figure shoulders have a ball joint instead of a tip and special hole. And the butterfly part is a free floating piece so you can move it all around. Its made so the arms are easily swappable. And get tons of rom.
Here's the shoulder system I said I'd take a couple pics of. Hopefully fwoosh doesn't die again.
Some male heads have separate sculpted hair. Are these hairstyles transferable between figures? Anyone successfully transfer?

Yes, definitely possible.
i recently swapped the hair from the ML Sentry (Allfather wave) onto an Ikaris head for a Doc Samson custom/kitbash (needed longer hair)
Complete recipe:
-Hyperion body from the recent 2-pack (removed trunks/head/boots)
-Ikaris head
-Sentry hair
-Luke Cage boots
-Sandman BAF belt modded
@Warlock, that custom is fantastic. That is basically exactly the Doc Samson I want as an official release.
