Has anyone seen this "upgrade kit" for Extremis Iron Man? https://6inchplus.com/products/extremis-suit-upgrade-kitbash-set
Pricey, but you're basically replacing half of the figure. Two heads, new neck/chest/abdomen/crotch, light-up feature in the chest. Not something I can afford right now unfortunately, but it's definitely tempting as I'd love to upgrade the range of motion that figure got.
I’ve seen it, but it costs a lot, and all you’re harvesting from the original figure is the limbs? It’s great but just make the entire figure if you’re gonna go 3/5 of the way.
Yeah I noticed that upgrade kit but thought the same, it’s very nice work though
@retrovintage Here you go.
Do you mind putting that unmasked Hank Pym head on either/both 80s & 90s X-Men Havok bodies? Just curious as to how good of an unmasked Alex he'd make.
And will anyone with the new Target Black Widow please try putting her heads on Bonebreaker wave Siryn's body and any Jean Grey body you might have? Just curious as to whether I can diversify my redheads looks at all to maybe get a calmer retro Phoenix or Theresa Cassidy.
Sorry it took a bit- but here you go. A touch big for Alex, I think.
I guess this counts as a parts swap, replaced Agatha's shawl and skirt with fabrics.

Thanks! Might be a little big on that body, but I appreciate the effort!
Is it possible to swap unmasked heads between the two MCU Wasps?
I would also like to know if this is possible?
I was thinking about using the Hank head as a Steve Rogers. They are so similar minus a few angle of the hair. It actually looks fantastic on that body!
Pleased to report that the extra Target Black Widow heads do offer some decent diversity of expressions for Theresa Cassidy / Siryn. Both the long hair portraits look decent. The short hair one looks more like a "long hair" Rachel Summers if anyone likes her 2000s look.
@DarkXorn that looks INCREDIBLE. Been wishing she had more ROM with the plastic skirts.
@JTMarsh - thanks for posting that. I somehow ended up with an extra Siryn and wouldn't mind swapping the head (and I always love using spare head sculpts instead of just leaving them in storage if I can).
Old school parts swapping question - was there ever a body that worked well with the heads (like Tony Stark's) that sat lower on the basic suit body so it looked like they had no neck? I'm trying to find a civilian body for Hydra Stomper Steve but he's got the Tony No Neck problem on the baseline civilian suit body.

Would you be willing to share what fabric you used and where to find it? I have tried to get help at Joann’s by showing them pictures of things like this and it rarely works.

Ofcourse, these two fabrics are from Etsy.
It's worth noting that the blue of the skirt, although it looks like a relatively perfect match from the image on the website, is not really a true color match. It's a turquois color, and to color match it I airbrushed it with Tamiya acrylics. That was just me being impatient though, you could probably use some blue fabric dye to whip it in to shape too.

I’ll be damned. Do you have any wip pics? I love the draping and shaping you achieved.

I don't have any wip pics I'm afraid, it was all done rather spontaneously in an afternoon. There's two layers of the fabric, one shorter for the underskirt and one longer. I basically followed the way the original plastic skirt was sat, if that helps.
