I always enjoy seeing the easy ways people find to upgrade or change their figures with existing parts that require no more that heat and pop, no paint. I recently did an upgrade to Mr Hyde using zombie Scarlet Witch's hair, but I'm not 100% satisfied with it. Once I figure out how to post photos, I'll put it up. I had another idea to replace his bowler cap and hair with hair from an extra Ulik head.

Edit: I've changed the title to reflect modifications, but I'm not going full custom with this thread. Those take actual talent and effort, these should be meant for anyone to be able to do.

Could you change the title to reflect Part swaps, Mods and customs? Since its ML specific we don't really need seperate threads for changes made to figures. Might get more attention that way. And the customs thread in the Culture section just didn't get much traffic lately.

OK, testing out my forgotten flickr account:

Here's the aforementioned Mr. Hyde mod I made, using zombie Scarlet Witch's hair. I think it may be too much, so I'm not yet sold on it. But it's an alternative to the bowler cap.

I'm not an expert on Mr. Hyde so I'm not sure whether he shows up with wild Pantene hair at some point, but it doesn't look bad.  I'd say it's a better hair sculpt for Medusa or Dark Phoenix though.

That said, someone previously used a modified Moonstone head for their Invisible Woman replacement.  After getting one on sale I nail-polish-remover'ed her mask off after peeling her wig off(I did not split it, I assure you).  I'm pleased to report that she makes for a perfectly serviceable Paige Guthrie / Husk if you swap the hands on Monet and put that head on her.  Good gravy did it take a long time to get that mask off with the special fine point q-tips I got off Amazon though.

Moonstone is currently on sale for $12.50 on the Walgreen's website, and someone made a mention that they picked up the figure at the store at the sale price by showing the cashier the sale page on the site. Would be nice to get a couple for fodder. I noticed that the X Men 97 Rogue uses the same base body plus new legs with the boot straps sculpted on.

Walgreen's minimum purchase for free shipping is $35 so you would have to get at least 3 to get it shipped free. Might just try picking them up in the store.

Or mix it up they also have the same sale price for Quasar and Binary.

I neglected to mention that the yellow plastic hands that come with Moonstone also match the Retro/Target Rogue's colors pretty well, and provide larger hands for Retro Dark Phoenix and matches those pretty well color-wise as well.  Beyond that once you remove the yellow paint from her body she's literally just a plain white body suit.  Might make for a decent stealth suit for some female character or if you want to make a White Tiger custom.  I was considering somehow dying it lime green to make a Phalanx Covenant Emma Frost captivity suit when she was kept in the Mansion.  But it's largely a blank canvas.

Don't order any Funko's from Walgreens though I will warn you, invariably it always arrives looking like someone did the mexican hat dance on it.

Who’d have ever guessed that the final Walgreen’s ML exclusives would be so heavily marked down; so many of the previous releases were difficult for many to find (I lucked out and had no problems), crazy!

We got so many awesome figures from this partnership during that time and got stuff that at the time wouldn’t have flown in regular BAF waves; kinda sad they figured out the distribution and online ordering as the partnership dissolved.

You may be able to get the sale price if you're a rewards member. Last year when they had the sale, the figures would ring up.at full price until they scanned the rewards card.

Is it possible to swap unmasked heads between the two MCU Wasps?

Anyone got the West Coast Avengers 5-pack and the Commander Rogers from the Marvels wave? I want to see that Hank Pym head on that Cap body. The Steve head that it came with is... unsightly.

Does anyone know if there's a difference between the claws on the x force x-23 and any other wolverine? Because I saw a really good deal on the figure without the claws and have some spare from the comic style weapon x figure

Do you mind putting that unmasked Hank Pym head on either/both 80s & 90s X-Men Havok bodies?  Just curious as to how good of an unmasked Alex he'd make.

And will anyone with the new Target Black Widow please try putting her heads on Bonebreaker wave Siryn's body and any Jean Grey body you might have?  Just curious as to whether I can diversify my redheads looks at all to maybe get a calmer retro Phoenix or Theresa Cassidy.
