Yeah, I wouldn't advocate for silicon or rubber on top of the wireframe. Just the frame and some plastic pieces on top to simulate musculature.

I could see that sex toy silicon stuff fusing to the fabric in time.

Is there an existing example of this? Because I can only picture silicon if you want flesh joints that are seamless.

No rubber bodies please… we’ve seen what happens when Mezco tries to reinvent the wheel (Keaton batman)

don’t do that mez.

just make it really really good…highly articulated wide sticky build.  Cankles. Multiple divergent head portraits.
Maybe some  sonic clap and ground pound effects

Someone's confused, and I lost track of who it is--which means it might be me.  😜   But it was suggested that Mezco could easily put wireframe skeletons UNDER cloth, so they weren't suggesting that silicone skin thing that Hot Toys and Sideshow do that nobody wants to leave in poses because the silicone rips open.

I would have 100% bought both of their Star Wars Ahsoka figures, but I'm never touching any figure that uses that silicone skin and both of their Ahsokas use it on the elbows.

I mean there's a physics barrier when you're talking articulation on that thick a character. Especially in a line that is used to hiding their joints in cloth costumes.

I thought so, too, for a long time. Several of the third-party and import brands are proving that incorrect, though.

I've also been a proponent of Mezco using wireframe bodies under their cloth-covered figures. They could get as much articulation as anyone. If they added a plastic shell on top of the wireframe, the figures could maintain their musculature.

Is there ever going to be a better Hulk head sculpt than that Toybiz Face-Off?  I honestly don't think so.

As for what Mezco Hulk is made out of, I have the Mezco Conan and I don't know why they wouldn't just do a plastic body like they did for him.  If they would have done straight black plastic for Keaton Batman I probably would have ended up keeping mine.

I think it's my own crazy invention. No telling if it would work.
