So-- the last I heard the final figure in the 4" X-Men '97 series was to be included in a special boxed set exclusive to Target.
Has anyone heard ANYTHING more about this? I'd love to snag all of the 1:18 X-Men but don't want to have to snag the X-Jet if I don't have to just to get Storm. (Did that with the Guardians just to get Rocket and now I have a Nerf blaster ship just sitting around taking up space.)
Yes, the 5th figure is Gambit and he'll be in a 5 pack exclusive to Target. Should be up for sale any day now.
Really disappointed they released that 5 poa Doc Ock in this line. Keep the 5 poa stuff in the 3.75 retro line.

Agreed. You can tell this line is held to a tight budget. Ock got a detailed backpack therefore Ock gets less articulation than the rest of the line.

Any word on whether we'll be seeing another wave with the Xmen 97 group?
Was hoping for at least Jean Grey, Beast & Magneto. Mystique & Sabretooth would be nice as two of the bigger recurring villains from the OG series as well.

Xmen 97 promo today had me crossing my fingers again that we'll see a Wave 2. I need more characters to ride in the jet!

my Walmart has the Marvel epic figures on clearance among other stuff
my Target lowered some to $9.99
Found the two long-announced Spider-man two packs at Target this past week. Not bad for the price-- the Green Goblin is particularly well-done.
That being said-- I have the feeling that this line is DONE. No new announcements in forever...
