I don't hate it, but that voice in my head is asking me why I'd want to get it when I have the three-pack version already.
*the voice in pr1983's head: "Don't put this on me. You know you want it."
😆
It's also exciting to hear that the rest of the blue and gold teams are in the pipeline. I'm especially curious to see a Mafex take on Colossus. I'm hoping his outfit will have the 90s updates to that costume, since the Legends version is definitely based on his 70s appearances.
How do you know the rest of the blue and gold team is in the pipeline? Since Mafex tends to lean harder on story arc figures I wouldn’t expect a completion of the blue and gold team anytime soon, or complete them at all. The X-Men figures seem to be filled by AoA and the Phoenix saga imo.

Hopefully bennroe will clarify, but the guy who used to post in the old forum who seemed to have inside information about future Mafex releases posted his little "my lips are sealed" emoji whenever someone asked him about a figure in the Medicom pipeline. I recall people asking him about Iceman, Rogue, Beast, and Archangel and him giving his standard response implying they were in the works, but I don't remember him saying anything about Colossus or Bishop. Jubilee I can't remember at all--maybe someone mentioned her to that insider, maybe they didn't.
He never gave any indication of Bishop but he did hint at Jubilee and Colossus. I remember him saying Rogue, Beast and Iceman but not any version of Angel though, maybe I missed that post. Basically, I'm expecting a mix of the animated series and MvC line ups, along with various AoA bods but that's about it (no Nightcrawler, Longshot, Dazzler, Havok, Polaris, Emma, Kitty, etc).
Yesterday Medicom delayed Boba Fett and the Mandalorian v2.0, so that leaves only Rescue and Poison Ivy as still slated for December. Both have already been delayed once so the chances are high that one or both will get shipped out fairly soon.
Love the Rescue head sculpts, but she doesn't really have any more accessories than the Rescue in the 2-pack with Captain Marvel that has peg-warmed Amazon's virtual shelves for years now so right now I see no great reason to jump on her. I'll keep an eye on the reviews though to see if there's something particularly special about her.
Iron Man Mark 50 continues to impress as I cycle his cornucopia of accessories on and off of him. Just a spectacular release that I continue to be surprised isn't in more demand than it is.

There is always a penalty for being so late to the market. SHF cranked out like three different versions of the mk 50 years ago, I believe even Comicave dropped one. This one is better, but it is also the most expensive.
I'll pick up Rescue when she goes on sale, I don't expect her to be a hot item exactly. Not interested in the Mk 50, I'd much rather they'd do a Silver Centurion or any other of the myriad more interesting IM3 suits.
Looks like Rescue will indeed release this month. Definitely waiting for reviews on this one since she had so little screen time in this armor and since there isn't much that's an obvious upgrade over the second Legends version that came in the 2-pack with Endgame Captain Marvel. She's almost guaranteed to be a virtual peg warmer.

Yeah, after that great Loki figure ended up on clearance I am pretty sure this one is going to follow suit. Was there not supposed to be a Black Panther reissue as well as one with the purple glowy effects?
On the old board, I said it would be tough for me to pass on a Marvel comics Mafex. This one is quite an easy pass. I thought about the Mezco a number of times at discounted prices, but never pulled the trigger.
Superboy and and stealth Im look really cool - but Mafex is only for the big heavy hitter main characters in my collection.
Im assuming now that I've folded for the Mezco Doom, Mafex is going to announce a super awesome classic Kirby Doom lol
Cheap month for me. No interest in Iron Man or Superboy. It might be a cheap several months for me, actually. I think they've already solicited everything I wanted from their last major show. Not that my wallet's complaining.
