MAFEX dipping their toes in to 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's Marvel all at once stresses me out, but it's good to know nothings of the table for what was a very 90's centric line.
My one and only Mafex. I am happy overall with the figure. I'm fine with the scale compared to Legends. I may dabble in a couple figures here and there to fill out my X-Men Collection as needed.
Nice pics! Digging the shadowed face look, and he seems to fit pretty perfectly with the ML & Select crew there.
Medicom posted a product shot of Iron Man Mark 50 from Infinity War last night. It's due out this month, so I'm guessing this means it won't get delayed.
I couldn't tell from the promos how they were going to hold those four floaty repulsors up, but we can see in this pic that each one has its own stand. Ew! That looks like a much worse solution than Hasbro's where they have the clear plastic piece that ports into Tony's back that the four repulsors can plug into.
Everything else in these pics is looking good though. Pretty sure I'll be getting this one.
If Mafex made a 616 Nightcrawler figure I think I'd pretty much HAVE to buy it. And we all know that leave the door open for AOA and X-Force Nightcrawlers like they seem to like to do now too.
Isaac Wong got Iron Man Mark 50 in. I also see that Hobby Search has him in stock.
Isaac Wong posted a full photoshoot of Iron Man Mark 50. Looks to be the definitive 1:12 version of the character. The ThreeZero DLX version along with the accessory set is good, but I waited for this one for two reasons--one because it comes with just a few more accessories at a cheaper price (Mafex is around $120, ThreeZero is around $160 with the accessory pack added in), plus the ThreeZero is really 1:10 scale and too big for Marvel Legends.
Mafex has a really good set of Infinity War figures now. The big one they need to do is Thanos.
Glad to see Medicom finally doing more expressive faces other than the usual gritted teeth look, but I'm not sure they're quite there with them yet. Hopefully the final version looks better in hand.
The shoulders also look really wonky in the last two shots... 😳
I'm happy with the ML Daredevils but that look fantastic.
Still hoping for a Mafex Green Goblin figure.
I was already sold on the MAFEX Daredevil when I saw pictures of him at SDCC. But now, after seeing the official pictures, I'm DEFINITELY getting him.
But now I find myself getting greedy with it. Give me ALL of the Marvel Knights: Blade, Punisher, Iron Fist, Luke Cage. I'm REALLY into the street-level Marvel heroes.
EDIT: I really like the reds that they used for Daredevil, and the fact that they made the chest logo a sculpted piece as opposed to paint.
Daredevil looks a little thin but this was honestly a dream Mafex figure and to finally see it solicited is amazing. Think I need two.
I love the screaming head. A touch disappointed there isn't a Matt alternative head but maybe we can get one if they do the yellow suit.
DD looking really good! He'll definitely become my main collection figure over my current Marvel Legend (since I want one that can do all the crazy roof jumping acrobatic poses)
I'm getting some Toy Biz vibes. I don't like this.
