I'm starting my collection reset for the Spring and decided to do a Hall of Armor in one of my displays. I'm not an Iron Man super fan so I don't know all of the Armors made in Marvel Legends to date. Any help would be appreciated.

@thor-el I'm familiar thanks, Looking for the Marvel Legends that match the armors
Understood. For your Bay 4, Model 03, what I use is the Marvel 80 years armor with the Alex Ross head on it to replicate the "nose" armor. Then in the bay beside it, I have another 80th figure with the more classic helmet for the model 04.
@thor-el I was thinking that was the "Ross" head. I don't want to buy another 80th just* to use the Ross head.
I'll prob just remove that Bay unless Hasbro makes that version in legends.
Asked this in the retro thread & didn't get any answers.. but from the Iron Man Retro line reveal, is Model 9 actually Model 10? And Model 20 is actually 24? Pre-Pentagon?
Hoping one of the two Fwoosh Iron Man fanatics can help me out with this one.
@onetwelfthghoul it's an animated version of Model 09. It has the proportions of model 10 but the details are model 09

It is indeed the Mark 24. He wore it at the beginning of his tenure as Secretary of Defense.

I've always thought that armor (model 20) was the Pentagon armor. But as has been said elsewhere, with different artists interpreting the same armor in different ways, it makes it confusing if they're now considered wholly unique suits or not.
I was taking photos last night and noticed the chest "nipples" were on the top of the upper torso instead of the bottom on the 20th Anniversary IM.
That's an annoying detail Hasbro decided to ignore :/
@hbhfback Exactly. The figure depicts the Iron Man armor that appears in Iron Man #73. But by the next issue, the back fins aren’t there and in most of the remaining art in the Best Defense arc has the abdominal armor as all-red and not yellow on the obliques.
Y'all crack me up. Like, so many comic artists can't be bothered to keep the details consistent from page to page in some of these books. So deciding what the exact "right" iteration of each armor should be is a fool's errand that more or less boils down to personal choice anyway. If the figure matches even a single panel from the comics then it's accurate to some source material and it's good enough you're probably going to have to live with it.
I guess at least the good news for Iron Man fans is that the character is popular and evergreen enough that you may get another bite at the apple for a version of a particular armor you may like better - unlike fans of more obscure characters who are just going to have to live with odd choices for ever.
Any suggestions for an actual hall? I managed to get 2 3D printed bays from a seller on etsy. They're ok I guess, B+ rating, but at $40 bucks a pop, I kinda wanna see what else is out there. I've seen a few light up bases for Gundam and things like that, but again the price holds me back. I wish I hopped on the toybox train way back, but I didnt pay much attention till that ship sailed.
