Giant-Man might be a tester for the 2024 HasLab.

Giant-Man as a tie-in to the Avengers 60th anniversary.

2024 film on the docket, well, as of now anyways - Thunderbolts

If Giant-Man sells well, the 2024 HasLab could be a tie-in to Thunderbolts:

Personally I'd much rather have Atlas than a new Giant Man!

So maybe it's going to be an action scene in 7 panels?

I posted this in the old threads before the blip, but what if this HasLab is a combo of some of the following giants, with the tiers corresponding with the giant?

Pym Giant-Man with Wasp in 60's red and yellow suit as a tier. Locking 1st appearance Wasp behind a paywall would be a poor choice

Clint Barton Goliath with fishnet Widow as a tier:

Bill Foster Goliath with regular size Bill in his labcoat as a tier:

Josten Goliath with Josten Power Man as a tier:

Thanks for sharing! I wish they did stuff like this more often.

If for whatever reason this doesn't lead to Giant-Man/Wasp HasLab...damn, I will be uspet.

As someone who hasn't been able to afford any of the previous Haslabs, I really really hope that my only chance for a classic Hank Pym Giant Man isn't locked behind one of them. I was never able to get the Toybiz BAF and I doubt it will be affordable/available if this goes on sale, since people like size-changing displays (and they should). I really detest that Hasbro never simply released a retail version repainting the 12" Spidey buck when the option and packaging and infrastructure were right there for them in the larger scale. And no, an SDCC exclusive on an outdated body doesn't count as a retail version.

I just want to be able to buy figures and complete teams and collections without overpaying an online retailer for something that should be on a store shelf. If this is our only chance for a key Avenger displaying his powers then it really makes me question sticking around, but I'm happy for the rest who can afford to stay. I've cut down to focus on key teams anyway, and this would just signal I've made the right move.

Haslabs are a great idea for fans, but I think they should be limited to non-essential characters and special offerings. Hank is absolutely essential to an Avengers display in a way that Galactus and Sentinals and certain vehicles are not (even as incredibly awesome as they are).

Maybe the Haslab will be all Under Siege related characters? Josten Goliath, Rita yellow Jacket, Yellow and Black 80s outfit for Wasp, Jarvis, and Titania.

I'm hoping it's not a Giant Man. I don't know of anything else it could be, but I don't need or want a Giant Man the same size as the Sentinel or Galactus. If they go for Goliath, I might be tempted. However, I wouldn't want them to do anything shady like having Yellowjacket or any other badly needed versions of much wanted figures as unlockables. Maybe I'm just starting to suffer from Haslab fatigue.

Why do you guys think it will be comic?  I lean towards MCU for one specific reason--the films outperformed expectations based upon the popularity of the character in comics, and that's why we now have three Ant-Man films.  My guess is the team knows this and will choose an MCU Ant-Man.

Just a guess;

Most of the figures that seem to sell out are comic related. Most of the peg warmers are MCU or REALLY obscure characters.

They learned what failed and what has succeeded. Classic comic figures = success. Modern comic figures/vehicles = fail.

Consumer base for $400+ figures 35-55 years old.

Bet a MCU Ant Man aint gonna sell without comic tiers and we saw how slow release of tiers worked last time.

I just had a brainwave. There is no reason comic Giant Man should cost as much as Galactus, even adjusting for inflation, based on the number of molds and electronics. Yet, they want that higher Haslab price.

What if, hear me out, they go crazy and offer TWO giant people figures (24" or so)  using the same molds (with differing over lays) and maybe 2-3 tier figures?

Exactly!

After seeing the first two Hasbro pictures, both the Avengers team and the villain team are missing a giant. What if the HasLab is both Pym Giant-Man vs. Josten Goliath, tiers being:

1) A version of Wasp, like Perez asymmetric blue and white, regular and mini-size

2) Screaming Mimi (ties into Under Siege Masters Of Evil with Josten)

3) Jarvis and his mighty vacuum to clean up the mess

I honestly don't want one that's too tall as it won't fit in my detolf. I still love the Toybiz BAF.

Good luck. The absurd height of the first two HasLab campaigns scared me away. Detolf shelves are only about 16" high, so it's unlikely that this campaign (or many others) will fit.

I'm sure Hasbro looks at HasLabs as an evergreen product, but folks are gonna run out of space sooner rather than later. How many Star Wars vehicles, oversized Transformers, and giant Marvel characters can most people fit under one roof?

I hope Hasbro realizes that before long and moves to glorified box sets. A Mangog with obscure Thor characters makes more sense to me than nearly every other 12"+ Marvel character they could make. Same goes for a Cameron Hodge set with various X-Characters.

Box sets of characters are definitely HasLabs I can get behind, especially if they finally give us the litany of tragically-overlooked comic Thor characters we need. But I'd also support an Imperial Guard set, as well as an Avengers set focusing on characters they think might not fly like comic Mantis, Doctor Druid, etc. that they seem to be overlooking.

But I admit I also still want a classic Pym Giant-Man, though like so many others I do not, under any circumstances, want him to be as big as Galactus or the Sentinel. 18-20 inches is PLENTY big enough for Pym. But I'm still going to be irritated if this is the only way we're going to get a proper Jarvis figure.
