A big F U to posers that ride coat tails on an already successful iconic brand

nobody is thinking of you, if Marvel wasn’t associated with you. I would not care at all. Stick with ur HeMans or Green Lanterns. Nobody gives a $&@(

Are you mentally ill?  Because you are honestly talking to yourself on here.  And even more importantly does this new forum not have an ignore button?  Why the hell are you posting so much nonsense, post after post?  Go outside or something.

@throwitback, the Haslab was a success! Let's not let negativity that exists elsewhere ruin the fun here. Marvel is a big brand in lots of media with lots of different entryways for folks - no need to try and keep it exclusive to "true fans" or whatever.

Also, new reveals tomorrow hopefully! So we'll have something else to obsess over.

I've found that I don't actually need an ignore feature anymore. I just scroll through.

How about a HasLab centered around a giant, articulated Phoenix Force and related hosts?

The project could be contain a large Phoenix to depict the Force on it's own, then also include a smaller effect that you can plug individual characters (Jean, Rachel, Necrom, Echo, etc) into, plus all kinds of power blasts and effects.

EDIT: And, while I'm at it, Hasbro could release 2-Packs of the Imperial Guard, Starjammers, X-Men, and Excalibur characters to coincide with it's release.

Quoting myself here. A campaign centered around the Phoenix Force is what I most want to see if the HasLab sticks with the "big character" theme.

Other than that, I would like to see them switch up the formula and try a team-building campaign. My choice would be the Imperial Guard. Start with 4 or 5 team members and then add members as tier unlocks.

That's not so bad with a post here and there but we are talking about multi-post rants here.

That's what I'd like to see next time as well, and wholly endorse and support your team selection. I'd absolutely be on-board with The Imperial Guard.

Honestly, I'd prefer this route personally. I'd rather knock out a bunch of characters in one go, as there aren't any additional 2 foot figures I'd want at this point. Maybe have a centerpiece or interlocking diorama pieces to form the team around (to justify the Haslab premium format). I dunno. Throwing spaghetti against the wall.

If they ever end up offering Foom, I’d hope it’s around tax return season or sometime further from the holidays. But man that would be such a rad piece to have.

If you’re expecting a refund around tax season I feel bad for you son

couldve invested That money instead of handing out a interest free loan to the government…

if most collectors here were complaining about $350 on a car and 5 figures, I don’t think y’all will be happy with Fooms price… Good things don’t come cheap

Besides the point you posted Eaglemoss lead figurine … here’s some originality

someone really creative came up with this mock up

Please for the love of god, don't make Mandarin a tier.

"But it's the only way to release him!" - Hasbro, probably.

Quoting your quote because YES!!!! If Sideshow and other companies can successfully do it for thousands, Hasbro can do it for hundreds!!!

I was just going to lament that I miss the ignore button from the old forum.   Scrolling past is fine, but it's even nicer not to see it at all.

I think when you are talking about a funding campaign, momentum, either negative or positive, absolutely makes a difference in the end results.

The earlier a campaign looks to be successful the more excitement is built, and more backers want in on the action.

Maybe. Or, a decent amount of early backers actually just reflects that a high overall interest in the campaign is already there, as does having a small number of early backers reflects limited interest. As it is happening, it appears to be creating positive or negative momentum, but it may just mean there is either a large base to begin with or not, and the same general proportion of early backers to total final backers doesn't vary all that much.

The data is hard to interpret given with some campaigns that unlocking a tier changes the value proposition quite a bit, so you naturally see a spike after a tier unlocks - which in some ways that starts a new cycle so comparing initial to final basking numbers is confounded. And even though it seems like there have been quite a few of these campaigns, there really has only been a dozen or so that are mainly action-figure based, so other than people primarily back either in the first week or last day, everything else that looks like info could just be normal random blips.

Assuming the first or last day model, maybe the early-bird did work for the EoV in having the fence-sitters back early, so that after a week pretty much everyone who ever would be in was in already, and the interest just wasn't there. That was not the conclusion many drew during the campaign, thinking the interest was there but it was dampened by the early-bird failure and the negative influencers, but I am more inclined to believe now that 5,000 or so was the max for what was offered, and the negatively reflected the views of the majority of the community, more so than the negativity was "generated" by folks, and even if the influencers were positive, it might not have mattered.

Not saying there isn't momentum but there are alternative patterns/hypotheses, and I am now leaning more towards initial numbers simply reflect the total numbers, rather than influencing the total numbers.
