Wow... I was just looking through those issues and must have skipped right past that - should have known Byrne wouldn't have flubbed that badly.
But then it makes the costume choice in Champions that much more egregious. Like they had that gorgeous blue/white costume and chose to transition into that yellow/red monstronsity?
I regret only getting the first trade collection of Hidden Years. The new Omnibus collects them all, but I hate Omnibus books. Too damn big and unwieldy. I might spring for Vol.2 even though it's nearly $50 at the cheapest I've found.
Did they confirm blue Angel? I really want an Angel/Archangel for my X-Men lineup and this one looks good, but not a huge fan of the red.
No, but they'll make it soon. It's the same design as the red costume and arguably more popular.

I can't find quick pics of the 5 grouped each decade - not all 5 were on the same team at the same time as the years go on. But put them in appropriate costumes, and they would sell.
The Retro Card Falcon from a few years ago is on sale at Wal-Mart.com if you'd like to get some bladed flying hands for Warren.
@beamish Man they need to make a real classic Falcon eventually. Releasing two near misses in like a 9 month period was pretty insulting. Still the best Falcon figure I own.

I got Angel in today. Wow this thing is pretty nice. The wings are really good. I'm quite happy with them. My only complaints would be the huge open hands and the glove cuts on his forearms that this buck seems to have a problem with. His heft makes it hard for some flight stands, but I got Mafex Psylocke today too so I'm using her stand for him for the time being. I thought the body would look a little big for Warren, but it seems to work well. I would definitely want a blue version, with fixed forearms. Also, probably some of his other outfits too. And while I would think they'll probably end up redoing archangel at some point, I'm not sure this is a big enough upgrade to warrant rebuying those figures, especially since I do have the Comicon exclusive XForce one. But who knows, maybe they'll sucker me in when they show them. Plus, the last Archangel was really well done imo, so I'm not sure we need a new one in that outfit any time soon.
Finally got him. As others have said, other than the hands and halo being to big I really like the figure. Best wings yet. It still feels a bit light on accessories for a deluxe figure. I wouldn't have minded another appendage for Apocalypse. Luckily I got it on sale for $22, so that eased the pain.
