Loving the display & team pics with this guy! I'm torn... I'd rather have him in blue but how many years am I gonna have to wait for that release?

He comes with 2 sets of hands right? Like we're not forced to use the gigantic open ones? There's a normal sized closed set or something?

@trunks3540 correct, two heads, fists and open hands.

I prefer mine with fists anyway, so I'll probably use those instead. But I may have a set of extra not super huge chop hands I could paint white if I really wanted.

This Angel figure is great! I love both head sculpts. The Vulcan base body is excellent in terms of muscle mass, proportions, and articulation. These wings are super nice—I love the sculpting, the shading, and the articulation. Overall, this is a really nice figure. I hope we get a new Archangel like this figure.

For those wanting "knife hands" / open-palmed hands for Angel, I intend to try the ones that come with Zero from the Stryfe 5pk.  That character means little to me, so standard fists can stay on him and I'll use the extra outstretched hands for Angel and see how they work.

Just had Angel drop into my POL on BBTS (joining Nightcrawler and the Lilandra/Broodverine set). Once Crimson Dynamo shows up there, I plan on shipping.

On the subject of Zero, X-Men '97 prompted me to read X-Cutioner's Song (had the newest TPB since it came out, but haven't read any of the story since the issues were brand new in the '90s - X-Force #16 was my first X-comic ever, bought because so many cartoon X-Men were on the cover, and I've re-read that so many times, I was able to quote dialogue when going through it this time, haha), and since getting that 5-pack, I always thought Zero was a little too beefy, but nope - he's that beefy in the storyline, portrayed the same by different artists, even. So, well done, Hasbro, haha!

I'm hoping the flat hands from the retro-carded Falcon will work well, then Warren and Sam can share them as needed.

They work. That’s what I’m using. But also, Zero’s hands are the same.

I don't have Zero (passed on that box set) so that's why I was hoping Sam's were going to work. Glad to hear they do.

Got Angel today from Amazon and if I don't put this guy on my top ten list at the end of the year I'll be shocked. Simple design, but everything about him just WORKS. I thought the Vulcan body might feel too big but it's just right. Butterfly shoulders might've been night to have but with the wings he doesn't need them, really. If they try to sell us the same figure with a different paint job... I'm in, they got me.

BBTS says mine will be charged for soon, so when that hits I'm gonna ship my PoL, which, right now, is fricken packed. I nabbed a bunch of things from their clearance sale, mostly star wars, but some marvel and power rangers. I'm just waiting on Angel... impatiently lol. Also, may wait for Wolverine and Sabertooth as well. Still haven't gotten charged for that either, and it should be out soon from them.

Got mine from Amazon yesterday, and I'll join the chorus and say how great he is. I had the old ToyBiz one for ages, and while I loved him, those wings were crazy heavy for that scrawny little body. It's so nice having one that's far better proportioned, and the wings so better executed. THIS is what re-dos are all about!

Is Angel back in this red costume currently? Or a version of it?
