In case there was any doubt, the new Deadpool is entirely new.
Yeah, definitely looks all new. Still not a must buy, but one of my best friends is to Deadpool how I am with Boba Fett, so I know he'll get at least one.

I have a few of the first Deadpool release and I really like it. I'm excited to get my hands on this and see how it poses and photographs. I hope the Wolverine also has butterfly joints... I'm really excited to get these 2. A few of these 2...
And the inevitable sleeveless release. This movie will make 2 bill - follow up releases will be mandatory. I wouldn't be surprised to see something official announced at SDCC.
@enforcer Man I hope so. But if nothing else, I'd be happy if it leads to at least more Fox anniversary figures.
Some leakers are saying the movie sets up Avengers 5 which may be AVX. (They're also saying AVX will be announced as the new title this week at SDCC.) If that's the case, and yes that's a fat, pile of salt, IF, then I could see Avengers 5 leading to the motherload of Fox X characters getting figures since that's sure to get at least two waves and supposedly a lot of the characters not in D&W will show up there.
I was on the fence about getting a new Deadpool before the leaks, but honestly I think I’m sold. It looks much better than expected.

Oh, no, I HATE McFarlane shoulders. They are TERRIBLE. 😕
Also, Deadpool's head looks super comic-booky to me. Like, proportionally. It doesn't look like Ryan Reynolds wearing a mask, it looks like half the comic book DPs they've made.
I'll wait until its in-hand or a more comprehensive review is out there before passing judgement on the new shoulder setup. It doesn't look particularly consequential in that short snippet. I'm guessing they just didn't want to cut their usual butterfly joint into that sculpt.

What do you hate about them? They work great on the few McFarlane figures I have.
I'm just a bit disappointed they went with the ab crunch here, rather than the newer torso articulation.
I’m good with that new shoulder joint if it’s anchored in pretty solid like the neck joint on G.I.Joe Classified stuff. I like that it’s pretty well recessed and built into the sculpt. Easy mod for the inevitable sleeveless release I guess.
I haven’t been too happy with how it affects the feel of the McFarlane stuff but those are anchored into little ABS socket so the shoulder assemblies seem a little structurally weak to me. On ones where the shoulder joint itself is tight it annoys me a lot when the whole arm just pops out and the loose cover for the joint just flies off.
Can’t wait for these two to hit. Hopefully any major character reveals get some full releases later on like what happened with the Spider-Man No Way Home stuff.
