Most of it is i wanna support BBTS. And I order as little from Amazon or wal mart that i can. Rather feed those machines as little as possible. But if it bugs me enough, you're right, I always could grab him from somewhere else.

I get that but it also sounds like BBTS isn't supporting you, at least in this case.

As someone who looked for Colossus but didn't find him in stock anywhere until a few weeks ago it seems to me Hasbro has been shipping him to retailers rather slowly.  Amazon just got enough of him to sell him on their site as an in-stock semi-quick shipment (they still don't have him available for me to get the usual Prime 2-day shipment yet) for the first time within the past two weeks, so I'm guessing BBTS has also had their shipment delayed.

I wouldn't worry about it.  BBTS will almost certainly get the entirety of their ordered stock within the next few weeks.

For those interested - the AliExpress bare Wolverine arms have actually shipped. Really curious about the quality of these when they finally arrive.

I finally got mine in from BBTS, at least DP and Wolvie from the new movie. Very nice figures. Very well done. And the Jackman likeness is fantastic. I was gonna dirty him up somehow but I'm not sure yet, as odds are they'll make a sleeveless one that may have the dirt. Also, the gold Deagles I bought for him are larger then his normal guns, so they don't fit in the holsters unless I heat and stretch them. And they stretch out his gun hands. But they still look really nice. Watch them rerelease him with a dirty version and the gold pistols.

My wife and I watched the very first X-Men movie two nights ago because she was in the mood.  I barely kept awake for it because I'm 45 🙂 but I do enjoy it still well enough.  As I crawled into bed half asleep I wondered if anyone actually got DP Colossus in stock yet.  I found him at amazon, bought him, and passed out.  If I was more awake I probably would have hemmed and hawed over the $40 price (how is he different than the $35 Red Hulk I saw at Target yesterday?  He's not.). But anyway, he should be here today.  It's been a while since I made a ML purchase so that's another justification.

Think we'll get more figures from this movie? I REALLY want a Nicepool.

@wthiotina seems like a slam dunk wave if they do all the cameo characters, but I thought the same thing with Strange: MOM.

I'd assume we get Gambit and Blade if we get any more.  I suppose Ladypool is possible even though she didn't do much in film.  Cassandra Nova I don't need, but she would have made more sense than retired Wolverine with Headpool.

I'd probably buy any of these if they were made. Would definitely buy an X-23 and Gambit.

Only if Hasbro likes money (they do).

The key difference is that this movie did bank, Ru. I'd love a Krasinsky Reed or a proper MCU Blackbolt. It just didn't have the money pull.

I wonder if Nicepool might be off limits for a couple reasons…

  • Hasbro has yet to offer a figure with a Ryan Reynolds likeness. Nicepool would arguably be the most representative of what Reynolds actually looks like. We haven’t even got a version of his scarred normal face.
  • I haven’t been following closely, but there’s a lawsuit involving Blake Lively, and now also RR by some dude. Part of that lawsuit calls into question the nature of Nicepool’s character, being sort of a riff on how this guy suing the couple acts. He claims that Nicepool is RR’s attempt at making fun of him.

Zero chance we get a Nicepool for this reason.  Don't worry though, all you need is a good third party head which I'm sure is forthcoming if not already available.

I'd probably only really be interested in Cassandra, Kidpool, Babypool and maybe some random TVA personnel. I'd likely pass on any other Deadpool variants or any of the multiverse MCU cameo characters.

I think Hot Toys is doing a Nicepool so it's not entirely off limits. I just think Hasbro doesn't have an agreement in place for Reynolds and never saw a real need for one given his character is often masked. They probably don't see the value in it, though given this movie was the first Deadpool film after the Disney purchase of 20th Century Fox, I am a little surprised they didn't secure likeness rights for merchandise like they do with basically all of their stuff. It's possible that since it's R rated they weren't thinking about toys when doing contracts, but I always assumed that stuff was pretty standard for Disney. Unless Reynolds himself balked and was able to pull it off.
