It appears his design is universally hated. Not my 1st choice, but I didn't really mind his look. At least it's not generic like the Serpent squad.
I dont think it's a matter of not doing it cause people dislike the design, though I like it personally. More so thinking it's cause it was changed at the 11th hour
I'm holding out for the deluxe Falcon figure from the F&WS show rumor to be true. I love that look for him, and I'm finally down to one version of everybody, so I would enjoy getting rid of the IW Sam and have the F&WS version, even without a helmet.

I think that rumor is pretty much a sure thing; I hadn't realized that these new wings for Joaquin are the exact same ones from Sam's FatWS suit (which makes sense since he gave them to Joaquin in the series). There's no way they made the expensive molds for these 6-piece wings for just a one-time use on a sidekick.
Personally, my favorite suit is still his original one from Age of Ultron to Endgame. The ML for that one has horribly tiny arms that I really hate, but putting the new Sam head on it breathes a lot of life into it (even if the goggles aren't accurate). I would love for this one to get updated one day.

@retrovintage nice upgrade! You're right, it improves it a lot. And also about the wings, that gives me a lot of hope. The IW suit is cool but I really love the sleeves and torso design in the F&WS suit.
I was gonna do the same headswap but was too lazy to pull the old one out of the display - glad it works!
Joaquin has handle bars on his wings that Sam never had - or did he? I see them in that photo - NEVER noticed that!
Probably because the figure's arms were so short. 😉
I am starting to think maybe Leader was coming, but the redesign killed it. Hope I am wrong though
I have a feeling we had a whole wave coming with Red Hulk as the BAF (maybe?) Maybe we were going to get Diamondback and King Cobra but because they were all scrapped they decided to just do the 3 deluxes? But i dunno.Â

Given how bad the movie was I’m glad Diamondback didn’t make an appearance as I only want a comic version of her rather than whatever muted monstrosity her MCU appearance might have looked like. I am still impressed at the new feet for Red Hulk though, it really fixes what I hated most about the MCU hulk build.
@the_nobody I dunno either, since the other two figures have wings that would have prevented them from being released as regular figures.
