I'll be curious to see where they put these - $34.99 is where they should go, like Angel and Falcon Cap, but Hasbro of late is gonna push $39.99 - or even $41.99. And then they won't sell.

"Hasbro of late"? Angel and Falcon Cap both came out this year, at the "appropriate" $34.99 price. Has so much changed in the last four months?

Yeah? Crystal - $69.99. Bushwacker - $54.99. Colossus - $39.99. All at least $5 higher than other products around them for the same line offerings.

You're cherry picking the outliers. There have been a dozen other 2-packs of normal sized figures released this year at the standard $49.99 price - Punisher/Bushwacker is the odd one out. Crystal and Lockjaw is fairly unique and harder to compare with anything else, but it's clearly not a standard 2-pack. Deluxe figures have a wider range of prices, going from $29.99 - $59.99, so I have a harder time declaring what Colossus "should" cost, but it doesn't seem out of bounds to me.

Compared to 1-2 years ago it seems to me the prices have stabilized quite a bit. The special anniversary figures this year didn't have any sort of premium on standard releases. I'd say the only trends in the pricing this year are that they're working with a lot more types of offerings without rigidly set prices - a net positive, I'd say, for seeing lots of different types of releases.

Falcon should've come with an unmasked sculpt

I’m definitely in for Falcon and Red Hulk, though I’m really hoping a third party seller releases a more accurate head sculpt for Hulk. Im undecided on Cap. His Disney+ suit is definitely more eye-catching, but this release looks like the better overall figure.

Yeah, those wings look really great.

I'm not getting the figure so I shouldn't even comment but I'd be okay with the Red Hulk looking that way since I know accepting Ford in the role will take me a bit.

I'm grabbing all three but hope we get more of the crew, heroes or villain's if the movie does well enough.

All three look great to me. I like the helmets for Falcon-Cap and new Falcon. I have always loved Red Hulk, so his MCU debut is a must-have.

I'm watching the 1027 video that Hasbro just posted to YouTube and realized that the Captain America flight gear wings are not the same as the ones they previously released as a BAF.  There's an extra hinge in these new wings.  It was pretty difficult to get the BAF wings folded around Sam to protect him from bullets, so I'm guessing the extra hinge is to facilitate that since they showed that specific pose off during the presentations.

Also Dwight is showing off during this new video that there's a swivel forward and back with these new wings that the BAF wings didn't have.  The swivel allows the wings to be rotated back behind him or forwards in front of him in ways you couldn't do with the previous version where the wings were limited to mostly sticking out to the sides.

I'm probably picking up this new Falcon Cap to steal his wings for the comic figure - they look pretty great, and I don't think I'll mind the colors. I'm sure comic Cap has been shown with red-white-blue wings at some point or another.

I am opting for now to preorder Red Hulk and Falcon. I will see if Sam drops at some point. Worst case, oh well. I have the D+ Falcon Cap. I am perfectly fine with it.

Pre-orders are up.  Looking at the product shots I noticed one odd thing--they added an extra hinge articulation point for Cap Sam, but the new Falcon figure lacks that additional hinge.  You can see it in the pics below--note that the first Falcon image has two hinge points per wing, but Sam Cap has three.  It's possible there's a third hinge close to his body that is obscured in the promo shots by Sam's arms, but there's no rear image in the promos so I can't tell what the wings are like close in.

The third pic below is the original BAF wings that you can see only has two hinges.  Looks like most of the wings are the same from the BAF to this deluxe, but they recolored them and replaced the middle wing segment with two separate segments.  One additional difference from the BAF wings is that it doesn't appear that the deluxe figure has the clear stand that ports into Sam's backpack visible in the third pic below, but who knows, maybe it'll actually be in the box.

They actually mentioned in their 1027 stream today that the goal was for both figures to be able to wrap the wings around Sam for bullet-protecting poses, yet the Falcon figure doesn't articulate as well to do that.  Maybe it still will get that pose, dunno really.  I do notice that the hinge angles and locations on Falcon's wings are different than the ones on Sam Cap, so maybe they placed the Falcon hinges at more strategic spots to allow them to wrap around the figure.

I'm hoping they made one additional change from the BAF wings--a better system for attaching Redwing to the backpack.  The attachment point for Redwing on the BAF wings was terrible and falls off constantly.  Meh, I bet that's the same though.

Wait...just noticed that Falcon's heads have a white dude's face in them.  The Pulse description says this:

THE LATEST WING-BEARER: A former Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, Joaquin Torres has picked up Sam’s old wings to take on the role of Falcon

I do vaguely recall Torres from the Falcon and the Winter Soldier series shown below, but I didn't realize he was Falcon in the film.  Thanks for the spoiler, Hasbro!  😀

It's quick, but there are some shots of him in costume in the trailer as well.

So,  even though I don't collect MCU figures anymore I'm thinking I might pick up that Falcon figure to be a tactical flyer with my G.I. Joe team.   I like the look of the figure alot.

Are these new Falcon wings the same as the ones in the first few episodes of the Falcon and the Winter Soldier Disney Plus series?  I remember liking those wings more than the new Cap wings, so it's good to get them.  Bandai made a Figuarts set of those Falcon wings shown below that I was tempted by but ended up skipping.

I think they all look pretty good, but I don't feel too inclined to get any of them for the time being. Oddly enough, I don't find myself too terribly excited for this one. Maybe it's the state of the world, or hearing of all the behind-the-scenes drama, or that I wasn't too terribly wow'd by FatWS, but I wanna see how the movie turns out first, and cherry-pick from there if I feel the need. I'm perfectly happy with my FatWS Sam, I wanna see how heavily new Falcon features, and I've never been the biggest Hulk fan (blasphemy, I know). Something tells me Red Hulk may be a one-and-done kind of thing.
