@neozero35 what display case is that? I'm looking for something a hair wider than what I have now.

Edit: I couldn't post the link, but you can try searching Coaster Home Furnishings Delphinium 64-inch 2-Door 5-Tier Clear Tempered Glass Curio Cabinet Display Case with Shelving Black 950170.
I placed them on top of some Ikea Kallax units and I think it turned out nice.
Heh, I think I asked you about them before. You, or someone with the exact same cases.

I've got those bookmarked from the last time too! Really love how wide those are. My Detolfs feel cramped.
Added to my shopping list as well- thanks for the info, @neozero35 and @tsi for asking.

My two favorite ways to display stuff are:
1) with a decent amount of space between figures, like neozero
2) with figures posed up shoulder to shoulder, like CustomsbyMatchu
The most crowded detolf shelves I have on display, particularly my X-Men shelf and Marvel villains shelf, are in a weird no man's land. They don't have enough room to breathe and it doesn't look intentional, either.

I've never articulated it like that, but I think I completely agree. I really love displays like the one you posted by CustomsbyMatchu (his specifically are really great), but then I see what NeoZero did and it's perfect (I still have pics of that amazing Galactus display NeoZero shared a year or two ago saved for inspiration). The middle ground does seem like the worst of both.
Love seeing where people put certain characters in their collections. I have Armadillo on my Captain America shelf, for example.
@akajomiha yeah. I have him classified as Cap shelf too. Which is shared with SHIELD and HYDRA of course.

I don't like Detolfs for that reason, plus they're not tall enough. I have two glass cases meant for retail jewelry stores, but if I didn't have those I'd go with an Ikea Billy shelf with glass doors. Those seem like the absolute best possible display option for action figures, and they can be extended to go most of the way up to taller 9 or 10 foot ceilings.
These aren't mine, but here's an example of Ikea Billy shelves with glass doors full of Legends figures. Aside from having tons of extra room in this setup as compared to Detolfs the shelf heights are also adjustable, and that's a HUGE advantage over Detolfs as well. You could never fit a Haslab in a Detolf without removing shelves, but you can easily adjust one shelf to be extra-tall and still fit them into Billy cases.
Mine is on my Cap shelf too. Serpent Society on one side and random Cap villains on the other. SHIELD and Hydra have their own shelf because I have too many.
Ooooh...., I have never seen those glass doors for Billy bookshelves before.
I have multiple Billy shelves up in my office but just open to the room because the doors my wife bought for them have big inch and half thick wooden borders around them that ruin the displayability. Those glass doors are super clean and look amazing. Might be time to revisit Ikea.
@panthercult I recently replaced all my old Ikea shelving with the glass door Billys and I love them. I didn't do the double-wide ones because I don't like my shelves sagging over time and I like the more modular nature of the single-wide ones (can rearrange my rooms with more options), but I love the glass door element add in. A note, you can also mostly dust seal them with a little rubber stripping. I have the black Billys and a smidge of rubber stripping has kept them dust free for months now. Super clean look.
A bonus, the glass doors also come with wood inserts that are dual colored on front and back. Since I've got access to an oversized lasercutter at the makerspace I help run, I'm thinking of burning in some designs to those panels and using them on the shelves that I store books and blu-rays in.

Hey, that’s my collection!
