Across the Spider-Verse wave 2

Pulse has shipped all the figures I POed from this wave, so I guess I skipped Miles and Gwen. I saw all of them hanging on a vendor's pegs at NYCC and they look pretty awesome. Looking forward to Peter in his full costume. I'll probably wind up grabbing Miles and Gwen eventually.

Ended up only keeping my pre-orders for Prowler Miles and Spider Man India. I'll probably regret that later, especially for Hobie, but I'm hoping this wave might be a little easier to get than the last one. Might see if I can't just snag Lyla off the 'bay

I quite like the 2 I kept, though. They feel really sturdy, and have a much easier time standing than a lot of the other Spiderverse figures I've gotten. I was worried with Miles, since he's every bit as skinny as regular Miles, but maybe because the feet are a bit bigger.

Really happy we ended up getting these. Would be great if the designs didn't change too much going into the 3rd film, but I do hope they end up making Peni and Sp//dr. She's still the only real omission from the core group

Received the ones I ordered. Surprised I didn’t order Miguel, but I guess I wasn’t up for repeats. I like Spider India, and am looking forward to putting that unmasked likeness on Punk. Prowler Miles is ok, and I really dig the full Spidey Suit for Peter.

Edit: This wave is helping me revisit the previous wave. I really enjoy these figures. The style is so different from typical ML. I did pop the Hobie head onto Spider-Punk and it's perfect. I want an extra of Pavitr to display his unmasked head too. I like having individual figures of each, one masked and one unmasked. I will eventually grab Miguel once I see him, and I don't think I put together that the Miles in this wave is from "Into". So I definitely need him. Sullen Gwen is a bit iffy, but she'll go with pink Punk. They're all up on Amazon, but I guess I could wait around to see if I spot them in person.

So, for all those who celebrate it looks like the new Spot figure -  the black one with the weird colored squiggles - is up for order at Hasbro Pulse today.

It's not my thing at all,  but if there's anyone that was waiting for this version of the figure,  you can go and get him.
