Just pre-ordered a case from Entertainment Earth. Pulse sold out on my most wanted. This wave looks really good! April though....I was hoping January but whatever. There's a lot to be excited for in 2025 where I am concerned and would love if "Ultimate" Spider-man is their best effort to complete this wave so to speak.
This is a solid wave, but I'm very, very excited for Chameleon and Kaine. Kaine has been a want since I started collecting ML, and this very of Chameleon shot up on my top ten list once it became clear Hasbro was going to do animated looks.
I'd love to see some more Clone Saga characters. I know it's not everyone's favorite era, but it was actually the era that got me to regularly read Spidey comics. I'd like to see Spidercide.
I would too, still wanting a Bagley Spider-man. Spider Slayers and more. I get the sense Dan's favorite is Spider-man. Dwight and Ryan seem a bit more X-Men inclined which is where I'm at, but Dan likes the Spidey cartoon so maybe more figures from that era could happen.
Pre-ordered Kaine and Chameleon. Gonna roll the dice and wait for a sale on Agent Venom.
Agent Venom is definitely one I'd be surprised to see on sale! Seems like pretty high demand/excitement for him, Kaine, and Chameleon.
I'm a huge Clone Saga fan, so seeing a Kaine this well done is a very welcome surprise.
Agree with the post above, releasing a new Spider-Man with a Bagley head would be great. Not sure I love the size of the RYV body. It got too bulky since the retro release.

I think they're all a bit more X-Men-Inclined after the Avengers anniversary line tanked.
I'd love to see a Bagley Spider-Man.
Hopefully they just don't lump all Avengers and their adversaries into the "we're not touching them" category because of the anniversary. They almost all fit into other categories:
Starfox, Mantis, Jack of Hearts, Gilgamesh, Nebula, green suit Sersi and the original GOTG fit nicely into space-themed stuff.
Demolition Man, classic Falcon and the Serpents into Cap stuff.
Stingray, Jarvis, Melter, classic Titanium Man and Crimson Dynamo fit into Iron Man stuff. Stingray also fits into Deadpool stuff.
Dr. Druid into mystic stuff.
Firebird and all Rick Jones personas into Hulk stuff.
Marrina into X-Men stuff, as well as including an alternate Beast Perez head for the next Beast figure.
Echo into Daredevil stuff.
M'Baku into Panther stuff.
Skurge into Thor stuff as well as 1970s strappy sandals Herc.
On these boards and others that I frequent, there is often a call out for WWII characters, so that would include Jim Hammond and hopefully Whizzer.
Attuma is a frequent FF adversary as well as the Avengers.
After the success of the Wasp/Giant-Man 2-pack selling out twice, I just don't see them benching a Yellowjacket update for too long, and hopefully somehow including Rita DeMara Yellowjacket along for the ride.
A moratorium on "No More Avengers" is just lame.

Incredibly lame, but beneficial to my wallet and bank account. The more Spider-X stuff they flood the line with, the less I have to buy.
But that doesn't quash my strong desire for more Avengers stuff, despite how "Beyond Earth's Mightiest" seemed to perform.
Did one of them outright say they weren't doing more? Or is it just the cycle - Avengers had the spotlight last year and it makes sense to share it with less focus this year?
Anecdotally, we see the offerings did not do well. But I'd blame Walmart's un-distribution for US Agent and Fixit and PFP packaging for most of the rest. The only 60th offering that was a poor product was Super Adaptoid because they actively cheaped out on him. Possibly Spider-Woman/Skrull (but they also shouldn't have double-released Spider-Woman) and maybe Hulk/Banner - but that's not one really showing up on clearance.
Iron Man came out this year with She-Hulk - maybe she got reassigned, but? Cap and IM are out again right now. Quicksilver, fake repaint Carol, real Carol, Falcon Cap, fake Cap, Hulkbuster, Vision/Panther/Justice/Moon Knight all came out this year.

I agree it doesn't sound like a moratorium. I believe Dan did make a comment that the Avengers anniversary stuff didn't move like they'd hoped, or something to that effect. At the same time it was sort of the peak of the boom cycle, and it seemed like a ton got produced. Not to mention that so many of those sets were deluxes/2-packs/etc. I agree that Super-Adaptoid was the only truly egregious one (priced too high AND low effort), and that distribution was a problem for some of them. I paid more than retail for Joe Fixit because he was sold out on Wal-Mart and Pulse site for months and I'd thought I missed the boat, only for him to show up in droves at Ollie's.
I won't be surprised if the Avengers don't get a ton of love this year but only due to shifts in merchandising focus given which movies are on the way. Although I'd wager that we'll get at *least* two more new classic Avengers in 2025. Basing that wager entirely on hope and good vibes.
There's no way that they'll stop making Avengers characters/waves. It's one of the big 3 properties along with X-Men and Spider-Man. (F4 would probably be 4th). They may have been disappointed with how the anniversary waves sold, but there's no way that they'll just stop. With that being said, it might be wise to use those Avengers spots to do a dedicated wave each for Hulk and Thor in the near future rather than the broader Avengers property. Also with the MCU leaning back into Avengers films, that will likely have an impact on character selection as well (movie, comic or otherwise).

Yeah, they aren't going to stop. I'd expect more Spidey/X-Men stuff and slightly less Avengers product, but it isn't going anywhere.
Someone here made the point that the anniversary sets weren't particularly well designed. They forced folks to buy duplicative characters and pack-ins like the sky-cycle to get one classic look/character. Compare that to the Avengers-focused 80th Anniversary line which skyrocketed on the aftermarket. Those were iconic characters in their classic looks, and they didn't force you to buy another Black Knight to get them.
I preordered this wave from Hasbro pulse on impulse (No pun intended there) but out an of abundance of caution, I also preordered an extra set from BBTS, just on the off chance that the issues that have been cropping up with these Secret Wars case packouts haven't been addressed on pulse by the time this Spidey wave is ready to ship.
I ordered a case from EE. I only use Pulse now for exclusives and Amazon only for sales and their exclusives. I mostly use EE and BBTS now because of EE using UPS and with BBTS I can control how I want my items shipped. It may cost me a little more shipping with BBTS but I will usually temporarily cancel something in my pile of loot to cover the shipping and then later on put that item back in my pile of loot and ship that particular item next time I ship and pick something else to offset the shipping.
If you can afford it, it's better to support a small business than Jeff Bezos.
