I truly hope they make a human Beast soon. I'm still waiting for the OG team in their black/yellow costumes. I saw that hideous TRU exclusive 5 pack in my local 2nd and Charles yesterday for $244! No way would I pay anything close to that for those figures.
One of the big differences between Hammond Spidey and Ferrigno Hulk is Hasbro would probably have to cut a deal with Ferrigno for his likeness, unless Universal owns his Hulk likeness. Then they'd have to cut a deal with Universal. They craftily eliminated that with Hammond Spidey by not including an actual Hammond head.
Thor the Dark World is fun? Really?
"Mew mew!"
Darcy was absolutely fun. And sorely missed in subsequent projects.
I second this. Dark world has a lot of serious but some great banter too. To me, its only real issue is a boring main villain. Which is admittedly a big one, but there's a lot of other things to enjoy.
Dark World has a great climax. With the jumping/fighting through portals. I thought that was clever and interesting. Moreso than a lot of other Marvel MCU climaxes around that time.
They really dropped the ball on developing Malekeith and the Dark Elves. Just a little bit of dialogue would have helped to flesh them out a bit more.
I can agree that Darcy was fun - although she was arguably more fun in the first one and in WandaVision - though admittedly I haven't rewatched Dark World in a while.
I feel bad for the MCU collectors that want a Darcy figure - because she's the kind of character that should totally have a figure, but is never going to get one.
Things I've learned so far during the Fanstream -
-You have to be an influencer to get the Hasbro teams attention and get your favorite figure made.
-Dan says that people bugging him and asking for figures gets his attention. So we all need to flood his Twitter/X feed with Skurge, Attuma, M'Baku, Jim Hammond, Toro, Mantis, Warriors Three, Basilisk and our other favorites that I can't think of off the top on my head.
TBH I think the key component here is it’s someone already on their radar. Like Dan said people wouldn’t stop bugging him about MCU Lizard, but that’s also 100 percent a figure Hasbro was always gonna make at some point because No Way Home made a billion dollars.
Chameleon was also one of the few remaining holdouts from Spider-Man: The Animated Series (it’s basically like him, Blade and Punisher unless they wanna redo Rhino and Shocker).
I seriously seriously hope that the Adam Warlock figure doesn't have a permanently attached Infinity Gauntlet.
@ibentmyman-thing I bet it's a separate hand and cuff piece, if they even have it included. But having it as its own hand piece would make it a great accessory for the whole line.
Doing it like the old Marvel Universe figure where it’s an accessory makes the most sense.
What does the staff do? In all the years of people posting images of him I never noticed he had a staff.
From Fandom. I had no idea that staff a name.
- Karmic Staff: Warlock has also employed a "Karmic Staff" in the past. This staff was said to be an extension of Warlock's own life-essence, and its properties made it seemingly unbreakable. Warlock could also focus mystic energies through his staff with greater accuracy than he could by other means.
Dwight's tease piece looked to me like it could be Gambit cards. Anybody else seeing that?
P
@dathing my best guess is because they will release the others in 2-packs, similar to how the Squadron Supreme was released. I am basing this on absolutely nothing except the wish that they get done sooner rather than later.
Too long to be cards. Archangel metallic feathers still seems like the best guess.
The full photo does a better job of showing the individual flechettes within the motion lines. I'm definitely on board with the Archangel theory.
