Wolverine was in X-Men Apocalypse, but Phoenix wasn't.

Oh god...no.

As much as I hate "leather bondage suits" from Singer Movies, I'd rather buy them than...whatever this is.

It would be very surprising if it was the Apocalpyse or Dark Phoenix teams just because they don't really scream "legacy" to me and don't have large fanbases. Honestly, it seems like Marvel is going to kind of gloss over them. Even in Deadpool with all the cameos, there were none of them. They could've gotten them pretty cheap, so it was probably intentional.

They could always referring go Jean as Phoenix cause in X2, she had Phoenix powers but hadn't become Dark Phoenix yet. I wouldn't be shocked if this is the case cause both Storm and Jean could then use same body and be cheaper

Hasbro has to know the last few movies with the younger casts are even worse than the 2000s series (X-Men, X2, and Logan excluded.) I doubt they go with anything other than the OG Fox cast, potentially with alt heads for the younger actors.

I totally get people having nostalgia for the X movies, especially if you were younger when they came out, but I reeeeeeeeeeeeally hope they aren't a bunch of Matrix cosplayers. After doing the yellow suited Wolverine, it would feel like several leaps backward to me. If that's what will sell, then more power to all of you who prefer those costumes. Good movies, bad movies, I don't care, the costumes weren't what I wanna display.

I'll be disappointed if that comic Spidey wave is a BAF wave, especially after a very lackluster Strange Tales BAF wave.

Princess Python would be an instant buy, but the rest are not exactly high on the wishlist, to put it mildly. I'm all for new C and D list characters, but I can think of plenty of more interesting options. Zero interest in Spider Boy or any of these weird Spider variants.

Not a fan of most of the Fox X-Men movies, but I'd pick up Kelsey Grammer Beast - that was one casting choice I loved.

I get it.   But when we're talking C and D list characters - for everyone you think would be a more interesting option, someone else thinks this is a more interesting option.   That's the nature of the C and D lists.   Slyde and Hypno Hustler are legitimate Spidey villains.

The Princess Python inclusion makes me happy because I think it confirms a concerted effort to push Serpent Society into the line where they can now.   With Seth Voelker coming in the new Captain America movie I am hopeful that it means a comic Sidewinder figure will be on the agenda soon.   I also expect if there is a comic based wave or half wave to coincide with the upcoming CA film,  Diamondback seems like a no-brainer for that.   Low tooling, relatively high importance in the Captain America storylines and much wanted.

That's because they all cameo'd last movie.

Princess Python is the big winner from that list.  Slyde and Hypno-Hustler as well.   While Princess Python isn't my favorite Serpent Society member to not get a figure yet, at least she's another member.  Hopefully, some day we'll get of the more visually interesting Serpent Society members.  Hell, maybe the BAF for this wave will be Anaconda or Bushmaster.

Princess Python deserted the Serpent Society on their first mission, so I don't really think of her as a member (though I would display her with the others we have). If we want her REAL team bring on a classic Ringmaster...
