What’s due soonest? CA: Brave New World stuff? I’ve heard of some people getting notice that Hulk and the Falcons are shipping.

Yep. We're getting it from GameStop in Canada. Technically should have gotten my Cap, Falcon and Hulk yesterday. 

Here's to hoping that 2025 is the best year for Hasbro Marvel Legends yet! And hopefully not the last.

Of the reveals already known, I'm most excited for Husk! She has been on my personal Top 10 most wanted for quite some time. I'm hoping for some more never before made X-Men this year as well including Rockslide, Pixie, Anole, Armor, Magma, Sage, Cypher and Hellion.

However my biggest hope is for fewer remakes and more never before made characters. I don't want to feel the need to buy any new or updated versions of any A-listers this year.

My CA:BNW Falcon shipped from Amazon is expected to arrive on Friday. He's the only one I ordered from this group. I might pick up Red Hulk later if I can ever find him at a decent discount, otherwise I'll stick with the version I already have. I have zero interest in the SamCap after already picking up the Target exclusive deluxe version for like $7-8.

Here's to finishing some teams in 2025!

Hehe.

I thought about starting it today, but I decided to officially start next week, so sometime between Sunday the 5th and Saturday the 11th. I'm wrapping up a bunch of stuff and need to prepare.

I really want them to lean into the 90’s and early 2000’s next year. It’s not that these are my most wanted wishlist stuff (though some are), it’s just that the weird, extreme 90’s stuff would pair great with some of the other expected releases (i.e., Generation X, Xmen 97 waves, etc).

So the Nemesis wave goes up for pre-order next week already.   That seems pretty fast,  but I'm looking forward to them all,.

I found a War Journal two pack at GameStop that I was on the fence about.  $100 gift card in pocket ready to go.  I looked close at Punisher and saw some speckles of black on his skull that I assumed was shoddy Hasbro paint apps so I passed.  I........guess it's meant to look that way.  I honestly thought it's looked OK for a low-effort "weathered" look but if it wasn't official I didn't want to take the chance.

Would love all these.  Rockslide and Armor can easily be at the top of my Top Ten list whenever it happens.  I also think the 90s are best for cool toys, biased obviously, but there were so many great comic figures in the 90s and I would love for them to dive in rather than scattershot it with bare minimums.  X-Men '97 and the BAF wave though are definitely hitting the right notes so far.

Yeah -   I found myself dreaming about what I might consider a “perfect” X-Men figure wave for me.   There are still SO many figures to get to but here is a wave I think would be pretty satisfying:

Wolverine – Team X outfit   [inclusion of Wolverine is obligatory – I don’t make the rules]

Banshee -  classic green and yellow

Deathbird

Feral

Pixie

Mesmero

Synch

BAF -  Classic Mimic (tooling for a body that can be repurposed later for furless Beast)

I feel like that hits a lot of eras, gets some huge wants and team completers out of the way with Banshee and Feral – adds to the GenX team ,   gives us another modern X-man with Pixie and gives me two classic X-villains I want desperately.       I think that would be a pretty good wave..

It might be too far with three females in the 7 figure assortment -  and if that were the case then Pixe could be delayed slightly in favor of say - Hellion?  Elixir?

I was super tempted to put Exodus in this wave - but held off.    He'll catch the next one too  :wink

While I don’t generally collect X-Men waves, there’s enough classic in that wave that I’d happily be all-in for it. 

With all these close, but incomplete teams I imagine when figs like Rachel Phoenix, Feral, or Overdrive finally come out I'll feel more relief than joy. That can't be what Hasbro is hoping for.
