Happy to preorder this whole wave. I love BAF waves. I also preordered two of Superior Iron Man. I love it when figures get two great head sculpts!
It's not like we don't have several previous 616 Nick Fury Senior figures to work with.
The most recent being from approaching 9 years ago. Hopefully Hasbro has listened and gives us what many of us want. I'm sure the 3pk will be overpriced as it is. A decent original Nick Fury head to go with it isn't asking that much comparatively.
That said, unnecessary forearm slices are the new side eye on figures.
I've got mixed feelings on X-Factor Wolfsbane. Excitement and relief that we are finally getting her (and finally completing the team!). But she's so...orange. I was hoping she would be a darker brown shade so the previous head would be compatible, and because it's how she looked for the vast majority of her time in this costume, which was the better part of a decade. This orange shade is more appropriate for Feral (who will likely share this new tooling) and there is already enough difficulty differentiating the two characters.
Perhaps it was a factory mistake and they will do a running change to look more like the digital 360 model. I hope so.
And I'm disappointed that she is part of a standard BAF wave with minimal accessories. If any figure needed alternate head options, it's Wolfsbane. I was hoping she was delayed for so many years because they were trying to give her the deluxe treatment. She needs at least the head she currently includes, plus a fiercer werewolf head, plus a calm head with a ponytail for the look she had in the Phalanx Covenant and later issues of X-Factor and Excalibur.
X-Factor Wolfsbane is most certainly an overdue and very welcome addition, but I hold out hope for a better version. And so she remains on my top ten wishlist.

Besides the lack of fur on most of that figure it actually looks really good. I wish I was that talented. I have a feeling I'll end up painting mine a darker brown when I get her, and probably gonna use the old head.
Is she supposed to have a tail?
The ponytail doubling as a tail on that custom is a pretty funny solution. 🙂
She’s been drawn with and without a tail. The ‘in comic’ explanation was that she was experimenting with her transformations, trying to see how close she could get to her human form without reverting back to a Genoshin mutate. So depending on her level of transformation she sometimes had a tail. So either way is correct, and a matter of preference.
They could have at least matched the X logo color with the other members already made.
Yeah, I wish Wolfsbane also had a tail. 🙂
I also want a new Slave Leia figure. A better one. With a good face, and not a garbage skirt that frays and rips when you touch it. On a better body.
Like someone said, cheesecake representations of female characters is no longer acceptable... Historical accuracy be damned, I guess. 🙄
I'm fine with or without the tail on Rahne. Like above, she's been drawn both ways. It's the colors that are off putting. The orange fur (what is it with Hasbro and orange?), and the yellow that *doesn't* have the orange tint (again, shit dealing with orange), and the symbol is wrong too? At least I can paint I guess. But most of the recent figures I've gotten have been great out of box. I haven't had to repaint alot, cept the 97 Rogue, which I haven't gotten around to yet. But the rest have been really well done. Why the step back? Guess we were spoiled. Back to the shitty paint and weird decisions.
Superior Iron Man was sculpted by the same sculptor who created Iron Man Model 70, Iron Man Mark 3, and the Heroes Return Armor. Looking very cool to me!
It does look cool. I didn't read that story, but I'm always happy to add another armor to the Armory. The unhelmeted head is going into the "Box of No Return™" though.
