I gave Wolfsbane the badly needed brown wash. I originally had more brown on her, but then decided to wipe off some. It blends fine with her original color.
@doober yeah that looks really good and tones the color down a lot. I think I may do that too. Thanks for guinea pigging it for us.
I know it could probably be a little better (it was my first time to wash a figure) and I may touch it up later. But it does give you an idea of what Hasbro could have done.

I didn't paint her face, palms of her hands or the bottom of her feet. Just her arms and legs. It was very easy.
Gamestop apparently has Cable in stock. Hopefully this means he'll start shipping out from everywhere else soon. Peg-leg Zabu needs to be completed. (Also I just took the two older Cables out of storage and I reckon this new guy will be my display one for a while. Always begrudgingly used the X-Factor Cable and preferred the first version a LOT, but a modernized body would be a nice change of pace for him.)

My Cable has been bumped around a couple of times by Amazon and now says it is due to ship on June 19 - same thing with She-Hulk. Poor Zabu is gonna have to stump around on 3 legs for another few weeks.
Haven't been able to find my Guenhwyvar so I bought another set. They're pretty cheap on eBay right now since Pulse just cleared them out a few months ago. I'll probably find my panther eventually, but my kids had her out in public areas of our house and we have neighborhood kids plowing through most days so it's always possible one of them grabbed her since it has happened several times before. Multiple Drizzts just means more elves for Thor displays, multiple panthers is always fine, and Drizzt comes with the best sword energy effects I've ever seen so more of those are also welcome. I've been using Drizzt's sword effects with Silver Samurai...I'm sure I'll find other Marvel characters to use them with. Psylocke jumps to mind, can't think of others for now.
Guenhwyvar is less chonky than Zabu, about half an inch shorter in body length not counting the tails, about half an inch shorter in height, and about half an inch less wide. Overall they're really similar in size though. The plastic on Guenhwyvar is far stiffer, Zabu has a matte finish whereas Guenhwyvar is shiny, and Zabu has a bit more articulation range in most joints. The engineering on Zabu is definitely a notch or two above what Hasbro did back in 2020 when the Drizzt and Guenhwyvar set released.
They're both great animal figures though. I have all of the GI Joe Classified critters as well including the wolves, the crocodile, the eagle, and the rottweiler and both of these are similarly as good as all of those. I never feel like T'Challa or Shuri displays are complete without Guenhwyvar in there since I've been posing them together for years now.
I pulled out some extra straps from a Deadpool or Cyclops to try to cover up the weirdly painted boots, but the yellow can come off the blue plastic so I might just use some acetone. Maybe even pull the straps down to the calf cut.
Sounds like a great idea, I will probably follow it if I have some straps in fodder. I found someone selling what looks like a decent BFG on Evilbay. Also wondered if any wrestling figures have gold colored elbow pads that would cover those peg holes in his arm.
I am supposed to get this figure from Amazon on Friday. Maybe.
