@e-rock and speaking of, I've yet to mention on the new forum how they should fill movies waves with related characters from old movies. Yes, do a whole comic wave too, I'm not saying stop doing comic figures, relax. But, for instance, the Marvels wave could have had some StarForce members, maybe Endgame Rhodey or someone. Or, as I had suggested before, treat the MCU waves like the Disney Plus waves. Throw in some characters left over from previous releases that year. Fill out The Marvels with Hank and Janet or something. Spiderman 4 includes Shocker and Electro.
And I'd take that 5 repaints/2 new characters ratio as well, absolutely.
I’ve already kitbashed both Black Widow heads that are coming with that figure, but double arms are a draw. Banner and MK 2 are definite buys. The rest… I’ll wait and see.
You know who needs an upgrade? First Avenger Captain America.
Folks are saying Stealth Suit Cap was shown at FanExpo also, but I can't find pictures anywhere. Anyone?
I've seen mention of that too but no pictures yet. I imagine we'll see something in the next few hours.
With the strikes likely lasting into 2024, I'd expect this'll be the only MCU in the pipeline until we find out when upcoming flicks get rescheduled.
While I love my Widow figures I'm incredibly annoyed at how lazy they went with her.
Pinless arms does not fix the problems with the rest of the figure. They only acceptable reuse for me is the heads, the rest should have been all new.

Even the hair and face sculpt reuse annoys me. The hair sculpting very much reads as 10 years ago, because it is. And yes, those legs are unacceptable. If they really had to reuse some legs and were going to sculpt a new torso and arms to fit anyway, why not the IW/Endgame Widow legs?

It's funny because that's actually exactly what I'm going to do with Widow. I'm popping this new head on the Infinity War Widow sans the vest and that'll be my Infinity Saga Widow. So I'm about to pay 30 bucks for a head. But I guess as long as I pay my 30 bucks Hasbro wins.
To be fair, if these repaints lead the way to characters like Darcy, Romanda or Aunt May making their into the line then I'll support it. But I need to see that happen not just teased.
Heh, yeah I frankensteined an Infinity Saga Widow as well. IW body, BW head, AOU hair and sidearms. Then I put the IW head on the BW body with BW hair. So I have two Natashas and both are all mixed up. And she's the only character I've done that with. Everyone else is pretty stock, though I may take the Disney Plus Hawkeye's neck down some.

I can’t get passed her legs they should at least used legs from the snow suit widow. truly, if they weren’t going to give us a newly sculpted tws widow why not just give us a civil war black widow at least we could have finally completed team iron man after 7 years.
hasbro’s selection is questionable.
Mk 2 & bruce i think are pretty reasonable figures. the rest of the wave is a good chance for newer collectors to get older figures but i wish it could have been mixed with new figures or smarter reuse.

That's an awesome lineup. I'd definitely skip this Widow if I were you.
They've released pictures of the wave... except Fury! heh. Man. They are just determined to not reveal that figure.
But War Machine Mk 3 from Civil War is included as well, so maybe there is no Fury. Cap looks to be exactly what I expected, Thor has a new head, and the picture of Widow looks fantastic. CW Iron Man has a Tony head, and Spider-Man looks great.
