As far as repaints go, MK2 was inevitable, but also for me, 100% necessary to add to the collection. I happily replaced the original figure from 2008. Banner is a big upgrade thanks to the face print. He also has a nicer looking shirt than the 4pk version. I noticed I have ZERO figures from Thor: The Dark World in my main display, so I've now gotta find a space for this Thor, who will probably be displayed smiling just for the heck of it, and dig up my Sif figure! I don't get why even she isn't in the display. I passed on Widow, War Machine, Civil War Iron Man. Was that it? I paid little attention to this "wave."
I didn't know either was out at all. Amazon has listings for both but neither is active still.
@e-rock most of them, yeah I skipped. Like Norm said, the Mark 2 and Banner are good ideas at least. Really would be nice if this leads to an ongoing line though, with releases sprinkled throughout each year.

I got him too, on sale. So I'm good on caps now. I also got Thor and Widow for the WS head then a friend bought the rest of her from me. Not bad.
@ru1977 I might have considered Widow if I spotted her in person, but I haven’t seen her at Target at all. Nor Banner. I might have seen her at GameStop, but she really isn’t a priority. None of these were. The ones I got, I got on sale.
If they did a wave of all early armors redone, I’d be all over it. Having the 2 and 3 make me really want an update on MK1, 4, 5, & 6.
For me, only if we get unmade characters mixed in. If it's only ever kitbashes and repaints, then I am less enthusiastic about it being ongoing
Widow is worth the upgrade. The new arms are great, the new chest is good, and she moves nicely. The likeness looks a little sleepy, but I bought a bunch of this figure for various needs and repaints, like my IM2 custom - Winter Soldier display got an upgrade, my "extras" shelf got an upgrade, IM2, What If?, my packaged display...

Yeah, they really should get on those. If you do the 4, you already have most of the 6 too. I still hope they do at least the Iron Man 3 armors he wore. There's a good handful there, if you could the ones he had on for a second.

And I get that. I still think there are a few unmade characters they can get with kitbashes. You can still throw in updates like repainting that CW Cap from the Infinity Saga as the AOU version, but wasn't Kaecilius someone that needed just a new head and Mordo parts? Do Malekith like Red Skull and include army builder heads. And yeah, maybe include one character with all new parts, since the rest of the wave should offset the cost.
@ru1977 There is a lot they COULD be doing with the line, but so far it's just...same popular characters. I have no issue with re-releasing hard to get figures again and such, but I do mind it when we are not getting anything new at same time. Right now, it feels like only shot missing characters from the Saga are now going to get is if they appear in a newer movie, and ya better pray they deem them worth one of 3 or 4 possible wave slots.
I had more optimism about this prospect before the full reveal of the last Saga wave and the overall MCU decline in BO. I don't think with the MCU declining in popularity they're going to be as willing to backtrack anymore
I think Infinity Saga characters a going to be to Marvel Legends what OT characters are to Star Wars Black Series. They're too busy trying to keep up with current D+ content that the most you are likely to see are re-releases.

I mean this more playfully than snarky, but... Are they though? Two live action shows and two specials, so they're falling behind on that too.
But yeah, I do feel like we'll get less and less. Title characters, maybe a villain here and there, lotta repaints etc. It sucks but I adjusted how I collect marvel to go with it. Maybe mutants will change everything.
