At least the first three are straight repaints with Phot Real face decos. Kind of disappointed they didn't swap out Natalie's holsters for working versions.

Man, I really hope this isn't what the Infinity Saga series has boiled down to. This is supposed to be the chance for new characters who got passed over originally to get in the line. Not a bunch of lazy repaints. Heck, they aren't even in new outfits. I would have loved a debut Widow atleast. Just look at the MCU wishlist post in this forum, there are plenty of great characters to choose from. And if they're gonna charge premium prices for these that's highway robbery! I think the loyal fans of this line deserve better and Hasbro should do better. I'm excited about Banner I guess.
Poor Hawkeye getting screwed over once again. Widow and Banner look pretty good; not something I need, per se, but it would be nice to have an updated Banner. I have the one from the multipack ages ago, and it's in pretty desperate need of the photoreal update. Fury I'll snag if it's updated from the original- I'm tired of my Fury looking like he's about to take flight. If they can ever get around to giving us an updated Hill and Coulson, I wouldn't mind that either.
I wonder if they would make a new sculpt for the CW Spider-Man or try to use something released before.
It would HAVE to be expecting too much for a brand new CW sculpt and and a new Final NWH sculpt... right?

True, that would have been nice. Definitely expected at least Iron Man mk 2 to be a repaint though. Really, all the rest can easily be done with repaints. I still hope Fury is a kitbash rather than using the old FA figure, but the other Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor, and Captain America all have got to be repaints, right? Cap could use the Ten Years Civil War heads, they fit on the WS body.

Yeah I agree. Hopefully this is just a stopgap or something. With the delays due to the strikes, hopefully Hasbro is able to come up with some great filler waves around the same time the theaters are feeling it. Like you said, there's plenty of great characters to choose from. And still a few Thors, Iron Men, and Caps to throw in (including redos like the First Avenger figure). Most of the lineup of The Avengers could use updates too.

You're right about Hawkeye, but at least Widow has made her Infinity Saga debut finally.
This Banner is exactly what I've wanted since, what, 2018? Unfortunately, I quit unmasked versions last year and this counts in my eyes. If I see him on sale during Black Friday or something, I bet I'll get him though.

Not even being snide or quippy or cynical in a cool way, but yeah I think so. Like I said just a moment ago, this whole wave can definitely be done with repaints so I'll be shocked if Spider-Man gets any new sculpting for it.
The final NWH suit... I really don't have high hopes for either. By the time there's a slot where it would make sense, I imagine he'll be wearing a new costume in Spider-Man 4. but obviously you never know. I really never thought I'd have Quicksilver or Iron Monger.
To be fair to Hawkeye, we did just get a great D+ Hawkeye figure and a re-release of the Ronin figure. So he got love recently. Just not from the IS era.
It seemed to me on one of the videos when they talked about this line that it gives them a chance to go back and get characters they missed out there, so it seems like this won't be a one shot and we may very well get unmade characters in future waves of this line. Forgot which influencer video it was, but I came out when the forum was down and I think Dwight was the one hinting it would continue

And I think you're right, I remember seeing that video as well. Hopefully we get another wave in the first half of 2024 with some previously-unmade characters or new sculpting for beloved characters.
Agreed. Even if the wave formula was like, 5 repaints/redecos of various Avengers and such and 2 new characters, I would gladly take it.

Ah yeah correct - I guess what we consider to be the CW sculpt was the inaccurate version which was based on the practical suit Holland wore on set. They would potentially use the Homecoming release - although that figure hasn't aged terribly well. It would be nice to get something consistent with FFH and NWH suit release proportions and articulation.
Imagine they did a whole new body with Retro/RYV style articulation 🙂
One question I have for this Infinity Saga line, assuming we get one basically annually which I think was my take away from Dwight's comments, but assuming we do, I wonder if Homecoming or FFH count? Sure we're getting a Spider-Man, but it's from Civil War. Wonder if Sony distributed ones have to be in Spider-Man waves.

I'll have to look for that interview because if this is ongoing then that absolutely changes the game and I take (most) of my frustration back haha. I'll take repaints if it gets us new characters in this line. I'd be happy if only 2 out of the 7 are new in each wave. I really wish we had a good generic female business body that isn't from the 50s (Peggy/Animated May) cuz then maybe I'd finally get that Pepper I've always wanted!
