Soul Reaver KickStarter

I just wrapped on Defiance last week, very excited for the kickstarter. Happy to see how successful it is!

I really hope a kickstarter for figures is possible, I'd love figures of Raziel, Kain, Vorador, Janos, and Moebius at least. If not, I'm making customs.

I'm hoping this KS going off like a rocket tells somebody to reboot the games.  That would get me to buy a console since I tapped out with my PS2.

And yeah, proper 18th figures would be a dream...

I never played the game, but my wife is a big fan. I'd love for them to do a remake or some sort of jumping on point since I can't commit to playing a bunch of old playstation games.

@popoman There are remastered versions of Soul Reaver 1 and 2 (2 and 3 in the overall series) coming, according to "leaks" from SDCC. That may be a good jumping on point when they're out.

If you can't dedicate the time to playing them, watching the stories on youtube is fine. There's a 6 hour supercut featuring the full story of the series. The story and performances of the many renowned actors involved just can't be missed.

I absolutely adore this series & I'm thrilled to finally see new content for it again.  I fully expected to back for the Soul Reaver replica, but that price is INSANE for a foam sword.  So that sorta took some wind out of my sails.  I backed for the standard book, but if I'm completely honest, I don't much care for the interior art they've previewed.  That said, I'll always support this franchise & I hope we get a new game out of all this, beyond rumored SR remaster. And yes, I'm desperate for new toys!  I've got a handful of the Neca Raziel, I always planned to give one better articulation, but never built up the nerve to cut into one of them.

Like all of you, I'm happy to see SOMETHING coming out of this franchise, finally. This and the statue that's been shown at SDCC give me hope, plus the leaks of remakes or remasters. As for the KS, though, I've only backed a digital version of the comic. None of the other extras seem all that amazing (especially for the price) and while I'm lukewarm at best regarding the art shown in the interior pages, I couldn't say no to showing support. 

I can't wait for the remakes/remasters of the games to come out. 😀

New Stretch Goal is a digital & printed version of the Blood Omen map that came with an old walkthrough guide for the first game.  That's pretty cool! I'll have to figure out something to do with it, assuming it will easily get unlocked at this pace.
