I got e-mails saying that there's 3 new threads started in the Marvel Toys section, yet I look, and they're not there.
I got notices for replies to threads I created, but the link took me to replies from last year and not all 6 threads had any new replies at all. Weirdness abides...
We're aware of the issues. They might persist over the weekend, but they will be fixed. Not by me, I don't know what the hell I'm doing, but they will be looked into. Fwoosh isn't going anywhere.
Best single post on the Fwoosh in years. Thanks Benty!

Even before the most recent issues, I'll have threads showing as having new posts, only to have them be posts I've already read from 2 weeks ago (I don't have email notifications cluttering email, so it's all showing on the forum).
Great to have Fwoosh running smoothly again! All the effort to keep the forums functioning is greatly appreciated!
I'm late as usual, but also wanted to throw out a thank you to the fella, or fellas, involved in fixing up the boards again. As many others have intimated, I'd hate to see the boards go away. This is the only place I like to go to talk about toys.

I've been surprised to watch how nerd-dom communities can thrive or die based on a website's architecture. Trying to follow topics on Reddit, Facebook, and so on is such a massively poorer experience than on an old skool bulletin board like Fwoosh.

100%
The 'message board experience' just works so much better for this type of ongoing, sometimes thoughtful, even essay-like (when I'm involved, certainly) conversation. Facebook is just a shit show on the best of days. And I find Reddit and Instagram absolutely impossible to follow and engage with. If Fwoosh disappeared tomorrow, there's a good chance I would just stop talking about toys almost altogether for the fact of not having anywhere I enjoy doing it.
I just got a wordpress error after posting
just a heads up that something is happening

It's been doing that for a few days now. It's a hassle, but at least we can still read and respond to posts.
Thanks to those who worked hard to bring this thing back. And just in time for Toy Fair!
JUST IN CASE ...
