@kvhulk What? I was literally prefacing MY statement about how I feel by qualifying that statement that I'm not suggesting we are owed anything. I didn't say anyone else said anything.

I second the idea of saying goodbye just in case. I have really appreciated the time spent here and I will miss all of this should it go away.

To piggyback on KD, an update would be helpful. Are there plans to repair the forum or move it elsewhere? If not, I'd like to create a backup now while it's still possible to capture most of the community here. I'm not interested in causing conflict or creating a competing product.

I've never run a forum, but I am a webmaster in my day job. I recognize that this is a lot of thankless work, basically done as a passion project.

I'm a lurker and an occasional poster, but I appreciate having the Fwoosh exist as an amazing throwback to what things were like 20 years ago. I get the sense most of us are from that era, and I don't want to talk about toys unless they're in a forum setting. Discords are too chaotic. Reddit is too current-time based. Nothing else really offers a way to follow a conversation on a certain topic for years except for a forum like this.

If we don't get any confirmation on future plans, and things slowly degrade or the final blip does happen - if there is a plan to create something new, is there a plan for getting the word out on where our "muster point" is? Any way to run a message up a flagpole so those who are interested can find each other again and keep some of these conversations going on?

The quote button no longer works for me...
Someone tried starting up a 'companion site' (I think that's how they framed it) a few years ago. It never took off, but that was when this site was running much more smoothly. I don't remember the name. I agree there are no comparable options right now.

We're aware of the issues. They might persist over the weekend, but they will be fixed. Not by me, I don't know what the hell I'm doing, but they will be looked into. Fwoosh isn't going anywhere.

Seriously appreciate the update! I saw some tech friends complaining about Wordpress shenanigans causing them trouble and was worried the back end was giving you guys grief. Thanks for all you do to keep these forums alive.Β

Thank you to the powers that be for fixing the boards. I was pleasantly surprised to see everything looking as it should upon logging on this morning. Long live The Fwoosh!

Echoing others, thank for the fix! As I said earlier, it's amazing to have a community and an actual forum where we can talk toys. The work to keep it going is definitely appreciated.
