Well dammit. I waffled on making a Clone Wars Plo Koon for months and tonight I finally decided to jump in with it. I bought a 50th anniversary ANH Obi-Wan for the body and placed an order for 3D printed hands from Syndicate Customs and bought a 3D printed head from eBay but the eBay seller flaked on me and canceled the order. Does anyone know where I can find a 1/12 Plo Koon head?
Found a li'l WALL-E mini-statue I upgraded with some Kotobukiya ModelingSupportGoods articulation:
A 3D printed head, and the 50th Anniversary Obi-Wan. I still need to fancy-up the lightsaber hilt, but other than that he's done!
Hey folks, I am no customizer -- maybe a kitbasher on my best day.
I would love to make a 1/12 scale figure of The Shade to fit in with my 6" DC figures, especially his pal Starman from the DC Universe Classics line.
DC Universe Classics Gentleman Ghost and Uncle Sam would need to be completely repainted and need new heads, which is more than I'm up for.
I had two ideas for base figures that wouldn't need any painting:

Either way, both figures would need a different head and hands. Plain black hands to serve as gloves would be fine, but the head seems harder to me -- a clean-shaven Caucasian man's head with dark hair, ideally dark glasses, and a black top hat. I can't think of any 1/12 scale figures that would be an easy head swap. Do any come to mind?

The hardest part of this sounds like the top hat. I am nearly completely unfamiliar with DC characters outside of the Batman family and even more at a loss when it comes to McFarlane's figures.
