NOTE: I had to update my list because I thought that Wonder Woman came out in 2023, but then I found out she actually came out in 2024, so I had to post this update.

So here are my personal picks for the Top 10 favorite McFarlane DC Multiverse figures of 2024.

1. Batman (Batman / Spawn Platinum single release)

As soon as I saw this one it instantly became my favorite Batman figure. I know it’s based on McFarlane’s art but it also makes a great neo-classic Norm Breyfogle Batman. It’s nearly perfect.

2. Wonder Woman

Definitely one of my favorite McFarlane figures ever released. It was a long wait for a classic comic Wonder Woman, but it was well worth waiting. This is a beautiful figure that checks all the boxes for a definitive version of Wonder Woman for me. If that Batman / Spawn Platinum Batman hadn’t come out at the last minute, she would have been my #1 for sure.

3. The Penguin Collector Edition (Regular Classic)

For me, this is hands down the best classic comic Penguin figure ever released. Just about perfect.

4. The Question (Platinum single release)

I love the old Charlton comics characters and The Question was a must have to go with Blue Beetle and Captain Atom. Plus the look of it is absolutely spot on. Too bad it’s a hard to find Platinum only figure. Thankfully I got lucky and won the EQL drawing to buy it, because I’ve never seen it at any store.

5. Bane (from the Knightfall 2-pack)

A great update from the single release mega-fig. It’s Bane in his classic comic look, and he has fists this time! Heck, I even like the blue shading.

6. SHAZAM! (Page Punchers)

Captain Marvel was my favorite superhero when I was a kid. And this figure nails it. Now I just need to get a second one.

7. Joker (Digital Silver Age - but it’s actually Bronze-Age)

The figure I didn’t know I needed. I was pretty happy with the Clown Joker from the 3-Jokers wave as my classic Joker. That is until this guy came along. The head-sculpt, the accessories, the color palette, all combine to make the perfect classic Joker.

8. Hal Jordan Green Lantern (Digital Silver Age)

Finally a classic comic Hal Jordan GL from McFarlane. And he looks awesome. I’m actually glad they didn’t use the textured body for this one as it makes it more accurate to the source material it’s based on.

9. Sportsmaster (Platinum single release)

Another hard to find figure that I literally lucked into getting my hands on. I am a sucker for classic comic villains, and Sporty here is really well done. He also fits in with a lot of characters like Flash, Batman, and the Justice League in general. This one should have been a standard wide release.

10. Mister Zsasz (MTS Exclusive)

Not the world’s greatest figure, but the fact that it was made at all, and he’s a classic bat-villain, and that he’scomic accurate makes it a must have for me and a Top 10 contender.

Best DC BAF of 2024: Plastic Man

Plas has long been one of my favorite DC characters. And the fact that McFarlane made him at all, and did such an amazing job on the his is just so awesome I can hardly stand it. He’s pretty much plastic perfection. (No pun intended). Or was there?
